Sasha got more minutes than Farmar? Wow

So I guess Brook is going to only get one double double a month? LMAO

29 minutes for Sasha today, I bet he's exhausted. 6 boards 3 assists, 3 steals, he's playing for that next contract, don't be fooled N.J., learn from L.A.'s mistake.

63 points for the Laker starters, 57 for the bench. 10 guys played at least 14 minutes no one played more then 30, 16 and 7 for Andrew, no 3 pointers by Ron Ron, only 12 shots for Mamba. Perfect.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Brook has regressed so much from last year to this year, it's not even funny. I don't know if it has anything to do with the Mono he dealt with in the offseason, but something ain't right with him.

His post game is just awful and I mean AWFUL.

I think we'll contend, depending on the other big guy we get. Maybe not for a championship, but another run deep into the playoffs wouldn't surprise me.

We'd have four very strong perimeter defenders, and Gortat, Lopez, + new big guy to help defend the paint and more importantly REBOUND.

                  We'll see.

Suns playing great D, looking more fluid. Holding them to 28% shoting and outrebouding them. Nash/Dragic on the floor together, something I've been calling for for a while. Robin Lopez tearing it up, perfect from the field so far.

There's a bounce in their step.

This is the worst officiating I've seen all year.

Big win. Suns D locked down Durant (yes, you read right), especially Childress. Solid, active game for him. RoLo was a stud as well. Grant had his first 30 point game in 5 years, and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Very happy considering we were well shorthanded.

As good as Manu/TP have looked this year Timmay simply doesn't look like he'd dominate Pau/Bynum/Odom enough. Not saying he isn't capable of big games but to beat the Lakers in a series? I don't think Spurs have it in them.

I still think OKC is the closest. Their youth/energy and Durant are just scary to deal with in a series... even though they've never won one I feel like they just don't know any better.

Really only SA/Dallas/OKC can challenge LA in a series... I'll take my chances against SA and Dallas because I don't see either team exploiting LA in any area. And I could see LA exploiting both of them on the interior.

As far as the East, now that's a different story. I think just like last year if Boston or Miami has home court... it could be a wrap for LA. Especially assuming Andrew won't be healthy.
That's the amazing thing about the Spurs now. Duncan doesn't have to be dominate to win. The offense is now centered on their perimeter players in Parker/Ginobili/Jefferson. This keeps Duncan fresh so when his number is called, he can go to work on the blocks. And the x-factor is Dejaun Blair. If he was playing on a lesser team, I think he could put up numbers like Kevin Love. The benches for both LA and SA are deep and talented. So I'd say that it would be a draw. Same with the coaches. I know Phil has more championships than Pop, but that's not always the deciding factor. I'm pretty sure if Pop had the chance to coach Jordan, Pippen, Shaq and Kobe he'd be pretty close to 9 rings as well.

It would be an amazing series. LA and SA would duke it out for 12 rounds. But in series like this, home court advantage means a lot. Especially when your talking about playoff basketball and two teams who knows what it takes to reach that championship level. If Boston had home court advantage in the Finals last year, we would have been hailing Boston as the defending champions right now.
