If the Lakers don't win this season, I hope either the Spurs or Magic win.

Yall need to delete the Laker fans on yall facebook.

They're all my real life friends though haha. People's blind bias' are so disgusting to me. It's been entertaining the past few years.. but now it's just getting to the point where I get visibly upset either reading FB or talking to friends/others about the NBA.

Now in actual face to face discussions, I usually just stay quiet and don't say anything. It all used to be fun to me... hearing others talk about other teams... hearing them speak out of their asses, but LA fans especially like to pop off about LeBron. It's just so mentally tiring to hear them babble about who has more rings.

I'm gonna post a picture in the LeBron thread that pertains to Kobe now.

True about Laker fans hating Lebron. To be honest, everybody hates Lebron now. It almost a fad now, like jean jackets. Lol

It's a hard time being a Laker fan out here Jason. You just feel so ashamed of what your fellow fans spew, it's a low feeling.

I understand on one hand if an individual does not like LeBron, regardless of affiliation. I don't like him either. It's completely different thing when you start talking out of the side of your neck about Kobe and how great he is compared to LeBron.... I could go on but I think it's pointless.

This is why I've loved the last 2 Christmas games where LeBron has gone into Kobe's building and blew out his team both times.

It is pretty hilarious that Lakers fans kept up the whole "Just wait until Christmas" stuff, then they get beat and it's now "Wait until the playoffs/June", as if yesterday's game meant nothing to them.

It's heinous. I'd delete all those Laker friends, but I'm waiting until I move out of the city to do that....until then, I gotta at least have a few friends, lol.

And its funny, about the whole LeBron/Kobe thing. It's some manufactured rivalry because they're the two best players in the game, but if it's always "let's see what he does in the playoffs", then why is it even a contest? Why are the fans so insecure about it? Kobe has five rings and LeBron has a big fat zero if that's what we're gonna go with. If so, then there is no rivalry, no nothing. No need to turn EVERYTHING into a something about LeBron or LeBron/Kobe or whatever.

Well to be honest it's one game out of 82, not a big of a deal for either one to lose the season is a marathon

I don't really like the Lakers but their fans have every right recently to say wait until the playoffs/june, whether they actually do anything this year is a different subject

Of course they do, but it's the fact that they then point to the ole scoreboard and say 'well, Kobe 5 and LeBron 0'.

Gee, I wonder what would have happened if LeBron and Kobe switched places career wise. Oh, no need to wonder, the score would be exactly flip flopped. And Kobe wouldn't have done near what LeBron has done in his career.

I don't understand why teams keep underestimating LeBron James' outside shot. Phoenix left him wide open, the Lakers left him wide open.
I haven't checked for stats, but I have seen 80% of the Heat games and I'm pretty sure that James is going less to the rim than in previous years and that he takes more jumpers.

Gotta give him something, and thats the choice alot of teams make.....thats been the scouting report on him for years....

Teams are packing the paint against the Heat in general, waiting to take charges....and Bron doesnt have the knifing skills of Wade...

Because of those same skills though, Bron is getting alot of WIDE open shots...which make even a OK shooter a good one...

Never understood the whole "swap player A with player B and watch what happens" argument people use with ANY player as if it's that simple. I mean I don't have a problem with the folks that use it but there would still be other things you would have to take into consideration as well.

That's fine with me, but IMO you can make the direct swap considering I'm not comparing a PG with a C.

They both dominate the ball at the wing position.

Obviously it isn't simple, but the main point is not everyone can be blessed with Shaq/Phil Jackson and Pau/Odom/Bynum/Phil etc. etc. So when Laker fans pop off about the ring count, it's like well what the hell has LeBron had compared to Kobe?

Then people get on LeBron for joining Wade/Bosh and trash bench... look at what your boy Kobe has had his career. Look at what Kobe did when he had LeBron level support. That's what I'm getting at, I thought it was obvious.

Yeah Kobe get dealt a lucky hand. I'd like to think that he had a little to do with those titles. Alot of champions got dealt good hands.
