Re: 12/27-1/2 Game Discussion Thread
no...you guys have only played 7 games against teams greater than .500, and are 2-5.
.....today's little FB nugget of wisdom?
_____ how many times do lakers haters wanna be wrong...like seriously ill admit they are not playing well but all that happens is u talk **** and talk **** and talk **** and then they win and then u complain about it, just stfu and wait til the playoffs<abbr data-date="Tue, 28 Dec 2010 19<img src=" forums="" images="" smilies="" graemlins="" 59.gif="" border="0" alt="" title="Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 7:59pm" smilieid="15" class="inlineimg"> 8 hours ago</abbr>Last edited by TheMatrix31; 12-29-2010, 08:52 AM.Comment

Re: 12/27-1/2 Game Discussion Thread
Saw Sportscenters coverage of the Laker/Spurs game last night. They mentioned expanded standings, and how the Lakers are 3-6 vs Above .500 teams. Decided to look at who has the best record vs Above .500 teams...
EAST
Boston 11-3
Miami 7-7
WEST
Dallas 14-3
San Ant 12-3
OKC 10-8
Nawlins 9-8
Utah 8-8
Astounding. The East is some garbage, but for that matter the West has the only team that has not beaten an over .500 team; Sacremento is 0-12.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: 12/27-1/2 Game Discussion Thread
This isn't anything new though. This happens every year, the Lakers consistently have the easiest early schedule in the league and when I pointed that out earlier this year when they were beating the breaks off teams you woulda thought I said the Lakers weren't a championship level team or something. The Lakers will eventually be fine I'm sure of that, but it's just a fact of NBA life now that the first part of their season they will feast and stack wins by virtue of the easiest opening schedule in the league, it's just a matter of getting things done when it gets harder in January thru February usually.Comment

They look to be getting almost nothing from Ron Artest this year. He has to have the lowest PER in the league for any player avg'ing over 24 minutes/gm.
