Could The Next "Big Three" Form In OKC?

Westbrook, Durant and Love on the same team in the future possibly??

Wherever Love goes, he won’t come cheap. The five-year, $60 million extensions signed by Joakim Noah and Al Horford last year will likely be Love’s starting point in negotiations. And his deal could be bigger. When asked what kind of contract Love could be in line for this summer, one league executive’s answer was succinct: Max.
Then there is this: Love told SI.com that during last summer’s World Championship in Turkey he had conversations with USA Basketball teammates Russell Westbrook (who played with Love at UCLA) and Derrick Rose about the possibility of someday teaming up in the NBA. Oklahoma City’s Westbrook and Chicago’s Rose are also permitted to sign extensions this summer.
“We all talk about playing together,” Love said. “It’s fun to talk about. When the time comes, we’ll assess the situation and figure it out.”

If so tough go for Minny. Rich get richer, and the poor still hang onto Ricky Rubios rights.

It could but that would also depend on any other moves I'm assuming they'd make as well, including the bench because Durant, Westbrook and Love(as good-great as they are)and just table scraps won't be enough to get it done.

I like it...Love's a great passer who would be able to dish out to perhaps the best shooter in the league or a cutting Westbrook. He's also an outstanding rebounder who can use his body effectively.

OKC doesn't need him.. they need an offensive minded big. They already have Serge as their defender... not saying Serge is as good as Perk, but that's a bit redundant.

I believe it would definitely be a next level move. They are only lacking an offensively skilled big. Love also likes to be in the paint... loves to pass, can pass, can shoot, can also post up a bit.. rebounds like crazy.. imagine him igniting the fast break with his outlet passes wooooow

                Westbrook/Harden/Durant/Love/Serge

Now that would be a lot of trouble. Considering LA and Boston will be on the downhill. OKC is the team that has the red carpet out for them in the near future. Them and Chicago and NY are the teams of the near future [after LA/Boston]. Obviously these teams will be trying to take Miami out.. assuming they adjust their roster in the coming years.

It sucks that Jeff Green really doesn't fit this team.

I was hoping Aldrich would become something valuable, but I'll gladly take Kevin Love instead.

Re: Could The Next "Big Three" Form In OKC?

Guys.... If this really happens.. I have been calling this move for the last 3 or 4 years now. He would be a perfect fit for this team. Jeff Green is such a solid player. But in my 2k online league a few seasons ago. I traded for Kevin Love. Man... Oh man... If OKC were to ever get a low post presence like a up and coming Love. They could contend with the top half of the West.

I also have to give Kevin Love a lot of credit. Back when he got drafted (and in HS). I didn't think he would be much once he got to the league. Boy...he has made me eat my words. Good job Kevin!

If there is a God he will not let this happen. I don't mind having these big 3's in the East not the West.

I guess everyone is going to start trying to form their own big 3 now. Heck if New York gets Carmelo in the offseason they could have their own potential big three/3 allstars.

Harden most likely wouldn't be there if this were to happen under a new CBA.
