Why do people think Larry Brown left Philly cause of AI??

I got my SI, today (talks about the olympics qualifying) and it something totally off in the article about LB's exit from the Sixers.

Quote:

Brown quit as coach of the Philadelphia 76ers three months ago partly to get away from Allen Iverson, yet there he was back with AI, extending him daily props.

Partly?? No. AI for the first time last year had play Larry Brown's way, and then he left. Why?? Because Larry new that the team was a dump and he crippled the team even more with his bad personel moves. That's why he left.

It's funny how the media can find more and more ways to make friction when there is nothing there. Larry Brown clearly expressed that was not his reason for leaving.

Damn I wish you lived in NC to be one of my fellow Sixer fans to show these people that AI is not who they make him out to be.

If I say it once, I'll say it again, unless your name is Kobe, no matter how good you are, the media will always paint some kind of bias picture about you.

Riiiiiiiiiight...The media is definitly painting Kobe in good picture now. Read the quote again Zig. The author said PARTLY. I love AI as much as the next guy but his constant lateness and bad shot selection did not make Brown happy.

You have to admit that Brown did pick the team apart piece by peice. I doubt 1 guy was even half the reason Brown left, or he'd have done it long ago.

they co-existed together for few years, right? so why that would have been a reason now, right?
