Again...like I asked T11...if you're assuming that because Westbrook plays w/ Durant, that by default of that he doesn't have to work, then what is there to be said about Wade playing with Lebron or vice versa? Why can't we then say, w/ the year that Westbrook is having, Durant is having a better year? Is that so far-fetched? I don't think so...

Look at the numbers man...Hollinger's metrics show that Westbrook is in the top10 in almost every category and is equal to Durant, much like how Wade and Lebron are about equal as well. Now, I'm not comparing the OKC tandem to the MIA tandem, just showing you that lets stop assuming just because Westbrook is on the same team as Durant that he's automatically second fiddle.

I think LeBron is going to be disqualified as an MVP by a lot of people because of who he plays with.

The problem with metrics is that they measure output more easily than they measure why there is the output.

LeBron won't be disqualified. Most of the reporters (who vote for the MVP) have stated that LeBron is their pick. I actually think Rose isn't being considered as much because he's only in his third year even tho he's the main reason the the Bulls have the. 4th best record in the entire NBA. Yes, better than Miami, Orlando, OKC...all of em.

I don't know. I've seen a lot of media not even acknowledge him.

What media? Everytime I turn on ESPN, those reporters and analysts mostly have LeBron as their MVP. On TNT, only Barkley has Rose, and Webber has Rose second behind LeBron.

edit: I know people are saying LeBron is on a great team and all now. blah..blah he shouldn't win. Tight race between Rose and LeBron...

From what I saw this weekend DWade was the best player on the court.

Im starting to warm up to Lebron for MVP. He is with out a doubt the glue that holds that team together. He scores, distributes, plays good defense, and is making good on court decisions. It's still hard for me to vote for him based on the fact that he is playing with D Wade, but I could understand if he won.

I don't know off the top of my head. I haven't been charting who has been saying what. I've seen a lot of Rose, Stoudemire, and early on it was Dirk. More recently you're hearding more Paul. Sometimes LeBron is mentioned but not always.

Wade?... You sure you were watching games from this weekend? vs Pistons Wade didn't play. vs Thunder he dropped points (don't get that twisted). But on the defensive end. I would say LeBron was the best player on the court. 3 blocks 4 steals 13 assist. Not stats everyone in the league is putting up. And also you can really see that the Heat struggle defensively when they didn't have LeBron. But in my opinion. Wade/Bosh could sit for 5 games and the Heat would still win half of those 5 games.

Exactly how I feel Jason... Right now it's either Rose or LeBron. Durant could up his scoring average to 35 points per game. But if his team doesn't improve its seeding (currently 4th in the West). He just won't win. Same can go for Amare and Dirk.

Well guys not to break your hearts..... But those 2.5 games you guys think is nothing. Is the difference between 1-4 seeding in the East (and West probably less). You guys should know better then that.
