I won't. But only because I don't make threads, generally.

If not, looking at the other centers in the West ballot. Who should get the nod?

Biedrins? No.

Bynum? No. Ain't got the numbers. And might not even be healthy enough to play anyway.

Camby? I like him as a player, but he hasn't been All-Star level in a long time.

Cousins? No.

Marc Gasol? Another player I like. But his numbers aren't any better than Bynum and he hasn't been hurt as much.

Haywood? Not sure why he's on the list before Tyson Chandler, but no.

Kaman? Nope.

Robin Lopez? Nope. Does he still count as a starter? Seems like Gortat is taking all this minutes.

Nene? Definitely can make an argument for him. He gets Okafor offensively. But Okafor is a bit better defensively and on the glass. Flip a coin, really.

Okur? Right...no.

Yao? Hasn't played in ever...yet he'll still make the game thanks to his fans in China.

Okafor deserves to go, imo. But then, I'm a biased Hornets fan. What do I know.

With the sell out crowd the Hornets had tonight they only need a crowd of 11,758 or larger on Monday against the Thunder to void the clause that would enable them to move after this season. Attendance has definetly picked up lately after football ended.

That's good to hear, it would be sad to see the Hornets move out of the NO.

That's good. But it would only extend the clause through the rest of the season. I want to see more people in the seats, but not cuz of the benchmark.

Frankly, the team needs a new lease anyway. The ownership transfer would go much smoother if that could be lined up at the same time.


And I doubt the team was in any jeopardy of leaving if the stupid benchmark thing wasn't reached.

Almost forgot today was the 5 year anniversary of Kobe's 81 point extravaganza. Hopefully someday when he retires people will realize this was the single most dominant offensive game of all time and will never be matched. For what ever reason, this feat wasn't celebrated as it should have been. Could you imagine if LeBron put up 81? What a circus that would be....

Watch that game again, and then watch Jordan's 63 against Boston. Jordan's performance is a whole lot more impressive to me because he played against one of the best teams off all time, in the playoffs, at the Garden, and Kobe or anyone will never match that.
