Yeah that call in game 5 was a bad one, but if Dallas hits a couple of free throws in the final 2 minutes it doesn't get to that point.

But I guess it sounds better to blame the refs.
if not for the refs, it would have probably been a Dallas sweep...once it got to Miami we saw the most one sided officiating in NBA history, and game 5 was completely rigged

couldnt have a Mavs victory with TMobile deal coming to fruition......

Wait, let me get this straight. Not only are you blaming the officials for Dallas losing game 3 but you're also blaming them for Dallas getting their *** kicked in Game 4? Come on,man!

And once again, if Dallas makes a couple of free throws in the last minute they win Game 5. Yeah there was a bad call at the end,I give you that. But you can't sit there and honestly believe that the officiating was the reason that Dallas lost games 3 and 4 of that series. You can get outta here with that noise. Especially considering the same two crews who refereed games 1 and 2 also refereed games 5 and 6. So they called it down the middle in Dallas, but all of a sudden they're in on the fix for games 5 and 6. Is that what we're suppose to believe?

And it's sad that he believes that. It's not the refs fault your squad can't make free throws in the clutch. By his logic if there was a fix then Miami sweeps that series because the same guys who officiated games 1 and 2 officiated games 5 and 6. They're not in on it in games 1 or 2 but all of a sudden they're part of the conspiracy in games 5 and 6. Give me a break.

And I'd really like to know how the heck officiating was the cause of that 24 point beatdown in game 4.

I agree completely with Dre's three main points.

            1. Phil has no room to complain with all the ref help he has gotten/gets.

            2. Dallas did get screwed by the refs in that series, but could have taken it out of the refs hands themselves.

            3. ZB9 is going to shave some years off his life being trapped in that 2006 broken-record time warp reality he resides in.

Everyone knows the refs sucked in that series. You hollering about it from the rooftops at every opportunity will not change the outcome. Let me say it again... whining about it won't give you a championship. I'm sorry it went down that way, but you act like the Mavs are the only team to ever get screwed by the refs. You also act like they never collapsed and had no part in their fate. Clean sweeps? T-Mobile conspiracy theories? Come on man!

I like the Mavs, but they had every opportunity to win Game 3. It really did suck how it all went down back then, but it's over. They have a really good team this year and you never know. I'd like to see Dirk get him a ring. He's deserves another crack at it.
