Why is everyone surprised with should frye recently down low? He use to be a down low in college. Not until he hurt his knee

Actually he's had the "Charmin" moniker since his Arizona days.

He's always had a tendency to play soft.

Offensively, he lacks the strength or tenacity to establish and hold position in the paint. If he does get the ball, he does not have the lower body strength or footwork to back his man down to the basket or finesse his way towards the hoop. A quick shove in the back and Frye usually finds himself outside the paint. Not being the most contact loving player in the world, he's hardly the type of guy that will really push back either,

Despite the awful defensive game, the Lakers have only given up 10 points in the last 9 minutes of actual gametime.

Lakers looking real sharp right now. Phoenix isn't doing anything wrong, but to this point they looked outclassed. Matrix was right about Odom. He has a field day in a Suns tempo offense. He's carved himself a great career as a Laker but I can't help but wonder what he'd looking like playing with Nash in that ssol style game.
