I'm not a big Tony Allen fan, but I am from the train of thought that if you have the game to back it up talk that ****.

Unfortunately for him he doesn't on the offensive end, which is where he was showing his *** last night. As Stacey King said, 'act like you been here before.' Dude hit a two pointer in like the first or second quarter and started taunting and strutting down the court like he'd just hit the go ahead bucket in the fourth. You do that then, go ahead, more power to you, but in the first half? BTW he then proceed to not score a single point for his final twenty minutes of play after yelling "This is my house! This is my city!" To the crowd and Bulls bench...in the first half.

I wasn't really talking about Tony Allen specifically. Just in general I think trash talking gets a bad rap. Especially amongst pro athletes. I like to see guys get fired up, but like you said it has to be within the context of the moment. Clearly if that's what happened it wasn't.

Ha, clearly someone has not watched much of Tony Allen. He does this every game. I commend him for his consistency, and as long as he is a beast on defense he can do as he pleases.

To each their own. I think he looks like a fool out there. It's one thing for a guy like Garnett to trash talk but Tony Allen?
