Boston is gonna have the toughest road out of any of the contenders.

They got NY, Miami and Chicago if it all plays out. Any way you look at it, that's a gauntlet.

Chicago on paper seems to have a nice path. They have Indy, Orlando then Miami or Boston. I would love to play Orlando in a series. I'll take my chances with a washed up Turk, a one-dimensional SG in Richardson. I'm still not really that afraid of Dwight, especially considering I view this team as an inferior version of the 2008-2009 team.

Miami has Philly, Boston and Chicago.

Looking at it, I like Miami's chances. They're coming together at the perfect time.

Only possible long series I see in round 1 is Knicks/Celtics. Don't want to call it since I'm pulling for NY.

Heat, Bulls and Magic sweep.

Other than Knicks-Celtics, I won't watch a single one of those other games. This would be a great year to bring back the best of 5 first round.

Yea I agree... I never understood why they changed it for. I've always felt the first round should be a best of 5 series. Some of the opponents just don't have a chance after 3 games are won.

Boston it is. It is so great to have the Knicks back in the playoff picture. The Celtics have been up-and-down lately, but I know they will come out with a vengeance in game 1. There are really no expectations for this Knicks team, so I hope they come out loose and take it to the C's. Win or lose, I'm going to enjoy watching this series.

Its a money thing no doubt. But there isn't a neutral fan of the NBA that isn't thinking , "can we skip the first round and go straight to round 2 matchups?"

I feel as though the Knicks have come out loose in all their games vs the Celtics this season. They just seem to fall apart late in the 4th quarter.

I think Orlando will struggle with Atlanta. Not that I think Shard/VC last year was way more superior to Turk/Richardson this year, I just think it's a different matchup in terms of with Atlanta.

Also last year Atlanta seemed to be having a lot of issues, either in the locker room with each other or with the coaches or both, and then you had Joe Johnson acting a fool and talking crap oh his own fans. They were self destructing towards the end of last year. Coming into this year, yeah they are on a terrible losing streak but at least there doesn't seem to be internal issues.

I am the biggest Orlando doubter on the board. Orlando should pull the series out though. I doubt Atlanta about as much as I doubt Orlando.
