Congrats to the Hawks, but I seriously doubt they can do that three more times in the next six games.

Same here. I still believe it'll go at least 6 maybe 7. Which is a lot longer than most people had it going.

If anything else, it proves to me that Orlando has a mountain to climb if they want to get to the finals. Not that anyone was expecting them to, but yeah it's getting more and more clear.

I agree, I was shocked to see that the Hawks went 3-1 against the Magic this year. It's just a weird year for the Magic, I keep thinking Atlanta should be an easy matchup for them but for some reason it hasn't been this year. It's really weird because I picked Magic in 7, even though I feel like it should be Magic in 5. But now the Hawks are 4-1 against them this year; it's a bad sign for the Magic.

The Hawks took away the three from Orlando and let Howard go crazy.

Boozer got into foul trouble and was ineffective. The Pacers dont know how to close out games, but it took 39 from Rose to win. Not a good formula.

I think we've gotten so used to seeing these high school phenoms crumble under the pressure in the playoffs during their early years in the NBA. It seems like the value of a mature, college champion had been lost for a while but guys like Noah and Hansb give me hope.

You know what gives me hope?? Chicago playing a game 1 they should've lost to an 8th seed that relies completely on Offense. If they'd have faced the Celtics or Heat,Chicago would've been blown out,but i predicted a chicago come back yesterday due to the fact Indiana is an 8th seed for a reason,& it's because there poor discipline, execution & lack of ability to close games & i was right on the money. I expect Chicago to waltz & Electric slide there way to the next round but i swear if i see 1 more bad game from Chicago in this round,I'm Going to look at them as the same bulls team as last year, which was extremely beatable. BTW how about Derrick Rose going off? Great game but he still isn't my pick for MVP. Giving it to him now is like saying "This'll be the only good season you'll have,so we gotta give it to you right now." I want to see how good he is next year,& if outperforms this season then i'd give it to him. Allen Iverson did'nt win MVP til what 2001? & he entered the league in 96' putting up far better numbers & expectations for philly but they did'nt reward him til his 5th season.I understand D-Rose overachieved & so did his team but is he really the Most Valuable part of that team? I could've swore without tom thibodeau & his amazing Defensive coaching skills they'd still be a 6 seed,& luol deng improved in every aspect,Korver hitting 3 after 3 anytime in a game, that bench in general overachieving. If D-rose wins MVP which i'm sure he will,he does deserve it but i feel Durant & Howard deserve it more considering they've turned OKC & Orlando into a constant threat,& both of them year after year have led the league in a statistic as to where chicago & D-Rose just became a solid team this year. Just my opinion reguardless,i'm happy if D-Rose wins it but it would make more sense to give it to a player that is more Valuable to team success. Not saying D-Rose isn't valuable but chicago without tom thibodeau coaching, that defense,& improvements from Deng & the bench they'd be 6 or 7 seed right now.

That's because Carlos Boozer was guarding him.

Rose is the engine to that team and willed them to a win. Dude was incredible in Game 1.

Indiana doesnt "completely" rely on its offense to win. They far from outscore their opponents and play lax defense.

I wont get into the MVP stuff at this point. Rose had to score 39 for their win. The Bulls defense is what shut down the Pacers in the 4th quarter.

The Pacers matchup well w/ the Bulls despite the SEED placement.
The Hawks matchup well against Orlando. And it was apparent in both matches yesterday.

The Bulls arent going to Waltz & Electric Slide to the second round. That underestimating Indiana. I dont see how one could think a sweep is in store. A come-from-behind win isnt a dominant display..IMO.

MVP is not a career award.

Also, you could say any top team would be a 6th or 7th seed without its coach/2nd option/bench.

Kobe Bryant is one of the most consistent superstars in the league year after year. If you took Phil Jackson, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Shannon Brown, etc. away, the Lakers are probably a 6th or 7th seed.

                              That point really means nothing.
