Just another speed bump. Dallas has nothing that scares the Lakers. Done and done.

So I guess the Lakers got Dirk figured out? Listen, I'm not saying that Dirk will be the best player in the series. That's reserved for Kobe Byrant. BUT Dirk is Dallas best player and is a match-up nightmare for almost any team. Who's going to contain Dirk on the Lakers? Gasol? Dirk is going to take him on the outside with his perimeter game, which Gasol has no lateral quickness defensively to keep up with Dirk. Who else? Bynum? Please! He'd be at serious risk with his knees if he thinks he can keep up with Dirk on the outside. Artest? Watch Dirk take him to the post and shoot right over him. High and low post.

no one is saying that. Dirk will get his no matter what, thats a given. but its not him going off that kills the lakers. if u saw the Mavs only victory this year against us, they won because Terry & Marion went off on us.

if that happens again then yes we will be in big trouble. but i dont think that will happen. it will be dirk getting his and not much from anyone else. plus dallas is notoriously a bad road team in the playoffs (although they just got thier first victory on the road vs the blazers) just makes me like our chances.

but were gonna need pau to do his thing in this series cuz honestly i see Bynum struggling a little when Haywood is defending him. dude is a good post defender.

I don't know man. He spent quite a bit of time injured in NO. And when played for CHA nearly all his time here was in a suit on the bench. He played this past summer in the World Championships, and hasn't been injured too much this year. Seems like he is due for a nasty injury.

100% nervous for tonights game. Going into game 5, I felt Grizz would take game 6 regardless and I still think they do, but part of me thinks that Neal three to send it to OT was just more than that. It changed something in this series.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

Regardless, tonight will be a madhouse in downtown Memphis (Game 6, Redbirds game, Music Fest, people visiting Beale St). If the Grizzlies win, I wouldn't be shocked to see a mass orgy break out.

I like LA and I like the Mavs (for homer reasons). On the one hand I want to see Kobe get a sixth ring, but Dirk deserves a ring more than anyone else in this league. Period.

JET, JJ Barea, and Roddy B are going to need to be factors in this series..Each of those players have the quickness that could give LA trouble

Dallas is notorious for getting bumped in the first round, too.

Not to mention they were the best road team in the NBA this year.
