At 22, Durant will get a lot better than he is now. He loves the game, and puts in the work. He isn't playing just because he is 6'10.
Which pair of teammates would you take for the next 5-8 years?

Allen's just not a good example though, imo. Allen was never really a high flyer (outside of He Got Game) but he penetrated a lot back in the day. He literally played PG for a while. Durant's game is more like Allen's game NOW but Allen's game now is more like Rip's game. Allen is the example of the other player you're talking about... that started off aggressive and began becoming more of just a jump shooter as he got older.Comment

Interesting stat regarding Westbrook.
Westbrook recently joined a very small club. In the history of the NBA only five players have had 4000+ points, 1500+ assists, 1000+ rebounds, and 300+ steals in their first three seasons. These players are Oscar Robertson, Penny Hardaway, Chris Paul, Lebron James, and now Russell Westbrook.Comment

Wow.. that is a special group...
But what I would really like to see out of Durant is him making the same impact on the defensive side of the ball as he does on the offense side. He has the crazy tools to do it. He is young, so he has the time to develop them.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

I feel if he would just get stronger he could be unstoppable. He needs to hit the gym hard. Imagine if he had LeBrons strength combined with his shooting abilities and height.Comment
