Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
If the Celtics cruised to the championship (while going through two seven game series') in '08, then Miami cannot play the "WIP" card.
The better team will win. Simple as that.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Exactly.
F all that "Work in Progress" BS because they lost the right to play that card when they had their little Concert back in July.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
So they were supposed to win this year?
Title teams take time. You don't just put a team together in the microwave and instantly win a title unless you're the 2008 Celtics and have 3 HOFers just exiting their primes.
So I don't get why your expectations are that high for Miami.
They can still win multiple titles in the very near future once their roster fills out.
Tell me how they're not a work in progress?Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
3 HOFers
In all seriousness though, I said last summer them dudes had no excuses(mainly Lebron)and I didn't plan on changing that either. They wanna plan this whole thing out in advance, so they obviously themselves didn't think it would be a work in progress, so why should I?
So I don't get why your expectations are that high for Miami.
Now on the flip side, I ask you this: You say the Bulls should forfeit their salaries if they lose this series? How come they don't get the same privilage Miami gets this year if they lose? I mean are they not considered a "Work In Progress" either when they're a completely different team from a year ago as well?Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 05-01-2011, 11:35 AM.#RespectTheCultureComment

Are these not the 3 HOFers that we crowned these guys to be before last year?

Bro like I said, they still have plenty of time to get multiple rings. Give them at least one season before they instantly dethrone a two time champ and also Boston
So what should they be? To expect these ****** to get to the 2nd round and call it a successful season?

Chiacgo vs a ****ty Atlanta team? You gotta be kidding me with that question Pack
There is a difference between Atlanta and Boston. A slight one at leastComment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
And just to be clear, if Miami/LA/OKC/Chicago/Boston lost to Atlanta in a series then yes they would all need to forfeit their salaries. Not just Chicago.
I would include SA in that but they've already been exposed as frauds.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
All I'm saying is are you expecting them to instantly get a title?
That would be beyond foolish if you would put any logic into it.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Yup. Again, my comment was more towards Lebron then the team itself because all we've ever heard was, "Oh if he had more help, he could get a ring". Ok, now you're playing another Top 3 NBA Player and Top 10 NBA Player, so that should be enough to at least end the excuses for him.
No it wouldn't.
Your agenda with the whole "LeBron has excuses 24/7" is clouding simple logic.
Bottom line is LeBron will have no excuses in the very near future [like next year]. However it's logical to give him at least one freakin season to not get a title with a brand new team made out of scratch.Comment
