Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread

i'm not sure Booze has ever really recovered from when he came down incredibly hard on his foot awhile back.. i mean it looked TERRIBLE. it may have been since then or maybe he was struggling before then but earlier this season he was playing well.. he didn't just forget how to play ...

but he relies so much on footwork in the post to get his buckets, i bad foot/ankle/toe would very much throw him off his game in particular.

apparently Youtube won't let the video be shown but it was on a Kwame Brown foul if someone is not as lazy as me they could look up game stats and see how he was playing before this injury

Injury looked season ending but I don't think it has anything to do with his output at this point. Inconsistency and staying healthy have been key for him this season.

I was about to say LeBron's jumpshot has improved a ton this year, and then checked the stats on 82games.com and it really has. Before this season he shot around 43% or worse on jumpshots. This year he's shooting over 47%.

A lot of that is because the defense also has to focus on wade and bosh, resulting in better looks.

Different Celtics Team tonight. much more aggresive. Everything is going to the basket. Rondo is locked in on defense.

Boston looking real good. Their defensive rotations have been excellent. Hopefully the Lakers are taking notes.

That's good logic, but I think a lot of it is just the fact that he's improved as a shooter. Before, you could sag off and let him kill himself by shooting too many jumpers. Now, he knocks them down if you leave him open.

Off topic, but being a Bucks fan, I looked at Brandon Jennings stats and he actually improved dramatically when it comes to driving to the rim this year. He shot 42% last year from close range and shot about 53% this year. I really hope Milwaukee can get healthy next year...

Have crowds not learned they're lessons about booing LeBron every time he touches the ball?

Watching Shaq "run" up the court is one of the most depressing sights I've ever seen. He looks like he's trying to hold in a **** while rushing to the bathroom. This can't possibly end well for him.
