A Slam Dunk??? The whole point of the hearing was to hear/see the defense's evidence....Kobe wasn't suppose to "look good today".....but the whole story about the grabbing neck while turning her around ..she's bent over and you can still pull down her underwear(meanwhile never losing your grip on her neck) just don't make since to me, unless she helped out.........IMHO.....she didn't want to have sex with him, but she didn't say "NO"....saying "I have to go" sounds cute to me and would turn my on even more because I'd take it as wanting to stay but also not wanting to look too easy.

Ohwell...I can't wait to they cross examine the hell out of both of them.....and I'm tired of alleged rape victims hiding in the dark(especially when you send people on television to "so say" tell their story...considering it didn't even match with what I heard at the hearing....if your accused of rape and you deny it, IMHO, you are a victim to. If one hides, they both should be able to hide.

I studied a bit of criminal law...not that it did me any good.

Anyways, the way I am reading is...he's in a tonne of trouble.

IMO it looks like they've flirted a bit, she's probably been attracted to him and given him a signal...and then backed away.

He's reacted, and gone ahead. She's said no...he's done it anyway.

What a lot of people misinterpret in these things is that constitutes rape.

Rape is not just a guy grabbing a woman off the street. It has all different forms.

If a prostitute, who accepts money off a man,but then gets scared because he's aggressive etc and says "i don't want this"...if he goes ahead and has sex with her...that's rape.

If a girl kisses you for an hour and says she'll go down on you...and half way through it, you decide you want penetration etc and she says "don't", but you go ahead, that's rape.

The facts are, once she says "no"...it's a crime to go ahead.

If the prosecution can convince the jury that she said no and didn't want sex...he's in serious trouble, because nothing else will matter.

IMO it's reasonably clear that at some stage she didn't want sex.

The nurses statement that the damage is NOT consistent with consensual sex will be very strong in front of a jury IMO...when you combine it with the attendants statement, and the DNA.

In a way, I feel sorry for him in that I can see how it's happened . She probably gave him a signal or two that she was keen and, as a male, that does get you thinking that it's time to rock and roll.

However, the bottom line is, once she says 'no'...it's over.

He's made a mistake and he'll (probably) be punished for it.

No, I think he tolde her to "kiss my penis" before he pulled down her panties, and bent her over a chair. I doubt he would tell here to "kiss my penis," before she left, if he didn't want her to tell anybody.

I don't like how they made Kobe sound though. They made him look like some sex crazed mad man. I think he messed up, when he thought because she allowed him to "grope her breat and butt," he could take it many steps further. But because this girl was scared and had an obviously low-self esteem, he didn't know he was going to far and therefor thought it was consensual. I believe he kept asking her "are you going to tell anyone," because he didn't want to jeprodize his reputation of being, as AI would say "squeaky clean." The way ESPN and others were saying it, they made Kobe look like a serious head case, making it look like he said it because, he didn't want anyone know he raped her.
