Can't be done. Some of the non superstars make just as much money as the superstars. Some of the lists of teams i've seen would be way over the salary cap. But if there is no salary cap then maybe.

Re: Can you put together a team full of "non superstars"
My team comes in at 83.4 million based on 2010/11 salaries, which would be JUST around the 4th place team in terms of salary for this year. Only LA, Dallas, and Orlando would be spending more.
If I took J-Rich, Chandler, and Hinrich off and put Eric Gordon, Kendrick Perkins, and Mike Conley....I would save 22.2 million dollars, which would put me at 61.2 million, which would be between the 22nd and 23rd place total.
PG - Steph Curry
SG - Eric Gordon
SF - Grant Hill
PF - LaMarcus Aldridge
C - Kendrick Perkins
PF/C - Joakim Noah
SG/SF - Danilo Gallinari
C - Marcin Gortat
PF - Kevin Love
PG - Mike Conley
SG - James Harden
SF - Gerald Wallace
Perimeter defense, perimeter shooting, interior D, tons of rebounding, tons of scoring.....I dunno.Comment

The 2004 Pistons were a fantastic example of a true-team based team. Not only did the starting 5 work well together, but the bench was great as well.
If anything, Chauncy Billups or Richard Hamilton would've been the superstar of the team. Wallace was good, but not a focal point. Can the Kings turn it around? Come watch my NBA 2K11 Association!Comment
