Donaghy Makes A Great POINT!!

I know many of the NBA fans on here are not fans of Tim Donaghy. I personally am glad that he's been making a splash even though he was caught. I for one am not pleased with how these playoffs have been going. Fans of certain players are happy because their team is doing what they were expecting. However, I'm weary of the personnel preferential treatment that my team seems to suffer from when playing "NBA superstars" in critical moments. Was locked on another site but I think it's worth posting just in case it didn't make it to certain eyes. If you don't like the video, then don't click it.

Why ANYONE takes this dude seriously is beyond me.... hes done this every year to get himself some attention...hes got alot of debt to pay off

Why? Even rats can lead you to light. I honestly am not for the death penalty for Tim D. like so many other NBA fans. I personally wish that refs would be held more accountable. Maybe it takes a rogue from their ranks to get them in line so we can enjoy an unfixed game. Like it or not, the man is pointing out truth. The refs missed that not to mention the "other" statistical discrepancies that were blatant for everyone with sight that watched a certain team make their move in the playoffs. I am tired of sports trying to sell a story instead of letting the hard working man earn what he deserves.

EDIT: I do agree Bron traveled there, and it has happened before. Im talking more about his entire take on the playoffs this year, and the "predictions" hes made in the past

Where was he when Bynum traveled every time in the post. Players carry and travel a lot and it rarely ever gets called.

I'm not saying that he's throwing truth around all the time. I'm saying that this is one of the smallest instances that irritates. It happens and there isn't any response to it. It continues to happen and the sheep just watch. I for one am tired. If we get all 6 championships taken away to prevent this perversion of the game, I'd be more than alright with that. I really wasn't aware that the game could have been messed up like that.

I'm not blaming our loss solely on the lopsidedness. I'm blaming the many losses that teams have had through the years because of bad calls and other desires. I'm blaming this exaltation of players to the masses list they are superhumans of other worlds instead of them being treated just like the average Joes and given the same treatment as a walk-on. I'm tired of the lazy defense (flopping) being rewarded and good plays going punished. Tim is clearly not the only referee that might have tarnished the games. I mean, look at the countless horrible games called night in and night out during any regular season. Heck, the big networks covering the sport don't even talk about things like this. Why? Why is it okay for them to praise everything else and not point out the lopsided fouls that one team gets over another or calls that are not being called? Why is it acceptable to not dig deep into the statistics and found out who these horrible refs are that are tarnishing the game?

You have to realize that for Tim to have been rogue for all those years, he was in an environment that catered and nourished that type of behavior. He went unchecked and unpunished. It's like putting a kid in the candy store with cameras and not checking to see what he picks up and places in his pocket.

Everybody knows traveling is only called when it's a scrub or when it's a guy on a not so great team.

They might as well scrap the traveling rule as it is because it's never going to get called on someone like Lebron or Kobe.

LeBron and Wade both got called for travelling in the series. Obviously not enough, but they did get called once or twice.
