You know what I've always loved about that clip? Dante Greene celebrating on the court before Tyreke's shot even approaches the basket. Greene's clairvoyance is the exact opposite of this clip (keep an eye on Olden Polynice at 0:20):

The way Brad Nessler called that block, for years I thought Tayshaun had crushed his dreams. Always thought Nessler sounded a little too excited for Reggie Miller to get that ball in the open floor. Then when Nessler later began grasping at straws, wondering if getting blocked was all kind of a part of Reggie's grand plan ("Do you think maybe he slowed down on purpose?") I wanted to put my fist through the TV. At least Doc Rivers kept it real.

26 total blocks in that game, by the way. The Pistons had 19 of them.

That's a classic case of terrible NBA Live sliders. And will I ever see another NBA game with this kind of low scoring (and not because 2 terrible teams are playing)? Are low scoring games completely gone?

I find NBA trends to be cyclical. I'd be surprised if we didn't hit an era like that again at some point in the future. Once everyone begins playing uptempo, a coach will come in and go against the grain, slowing tempo with moderate success, then others will follow.

Also, this is an example of terrible NBA Live sliders.
