I hope you're right Aholbert, but it feels like the season may have slipped away tonight. The mudslinging is getting bad and the "blood issues" seem to have negotiations stuck on neutral. I'm done, watching The Office and World Series game 2, **** the NBA..........

Attorney for the Union saying that it's clear something happened at the BOG meeting last night. They thought they were headed for a deal.

            For talks or the season?

I wouldn't hold your breath for the latter at this point.

That is bs. According to both sides, they didn't start discussing the BRI until last night. They both said they didn't discuss system issues either. So how could you feel they were close to a deal?

No bull****...I haven't picked up that game in the last few days because eof the lockout. Feels empty with no rookies and with teams that will be drastically different if there is ever a season.

I agree. I don't mind playing other people but playing against the AI does seem empty indeed.

The owners should be ashamed of themselves for making an ultimatum to the players. They were closing the gap on some stuff and then they pull this.

It's clear to me now that the owners are not operating in good faith to get a deal. The day after the BOG meeting, they come out and pull this and end the discussion.

I heard some talk that if both side reached an agreement this week the season could start on Dec. 1st.

Will not meet unless they can talk about the system independent of the number.

Didn't he just say he walked away a few minutes ago??

Wow! I am shocked at the lack of perspective from both sides. It's clear that they do not care about the fans at all. I am beside myself. F 'em all!
