I'd also like to nominate ” My sources have informed me ” as a forbidden phrase.

Is there anyone else on here that really believes the current proposed CBA is worse financially for small market teams than the prior 1?

Hummm this guy right here has been saying this for a min now. I hate this new CBA as a Hornets fan.

I disagree. Those teams will be fine financially but I can see Da Throne's point about those teams will be less likely to spend because they dont have to field a winning team in order to break even.

I have a doubt: Can they sign a deal in today meeting or do they have to present the offer to the players/owners to be voted?

This is an owners form of welfare. As long as the lay below a certain amount of salary they are almost ensured to make a profit. I really don't see where this helps "competitive balance".Some owners will just spend more which will trickle down to the small rev teams. All the talent will still end up in the big markets especially all the players who are "cut" through the amnesty rule.
