HAHAHAH! That team will take about 150 3s a game! the sad thing is they will probably hit about 25% of that. Unless they make another move, they are screwed

too bad shooting 150 3s and making 25% still gets them 112 points plus...

They were a contender before they made this deal. But they will not be "serious" contenders until they address their serious lack of defense issue.

i realized that after I posted it. lol...they will score a lot of points but as the old saying goes "you live by the three you die by the three" they are going to have nights where they just go cold. That is when you are going to wish for an inside presence.

I think it improves them, not a whole lot, but it improves them a little...they basically traded raef who hasnt done anything they need in terms of inside big man presence...on offense he stands does nothing but stands outside the 3 point line, on defense he fouls like crazy because he just isnt as tough as many big men in the league. Trading raef for walker, an all-star, is a trade that made them better...also gives them some extra cash in the bank by getting rid of raef's big contract...walker will give mavs much more than raef ever did..
