Let's fix this: The Lakers have traded Derek Fisher and a 2012 first-round pick (via Dallas) for Jordan Hill, league sources tell Y!

There is the corrected version of the deal

Looks like no Beasley for the Lakers. Also no first round picks.

              Why did they dump Fisher?

That deal is questionable. Hill can give them some minutes in case Bynum goes down...but this one is questionable.

I think Houston made out on this deal IMO.

And we're past 3PM EST. Is the Crawford/Beasley deal not going down anymore?

So the Lakers have sent out their own pick to Cleveland and Dallas' pick to Houston. Is that not against NBA rules since they did not have a 1st last year and can not go two years with out a draft pick? Am I missunderstanding this rule?

So what exactly does that deal accomplish? We give up our last 1st round pick for a younger version of Josh McRoberts(who is only 24 btw). Might as well keep the pick and just stash Fish(or blake) on the bench.

You might hear of some moves after all the paperwork is done with

This turned out to be the lakers trade deadline in the end, we havent heard anything else from anyone else really

Big letdown unless you're in LA

Woj says that the Rockets are exploring a buyout for Fisher.

I've read in here that he can't go back to LAL thru a buyout.

Ofcourse you guys also said earlier that Steven Jackson couldn't be re-traded for 2 months and he was traded to the Spurs today. SO what's really going on here? Can Fish be bought out and go back to the Lakers or not?

The Rockets will explore a buyout for Derek Fisher, but they do need point guard help with Kyle Lowry, sources tell Y! Sports.
