Turiaf goes to Denver in the trade too. More cap cleared for Washington.

Are quality players just falling from the sky the way people are praising teams for saving cap space?

The majority if top tier players have been locked up and signed deals over the past 2 years. They're not going anywhere.

The next tier of decent players will be RFAs (Wall, Jennings, Curry, etc.) and there's a limit to how much you can offer them.

Free agents really don't want to go to the Nuggets, Blazers, Nets, etc. so what's this big benefit of cap space that some of you guys are so proud of having?

Why would they trade for DJ? But too late, anyways?

I've read that the Augustin trade is for Reggie Jackson and a pick. NOT CONFIRMED.

Also reading that Nate McMillan is now eyeing the Charlotte head coach job!

If you blinked, you might have missed the icy hand of Stern the Meddlesome at work again: We were told by several GM types that the Pacers were just about ready to lock up Chris Kaman -- a perfect fit for Indiana, which believes it was one big away from competing with the beasts of the East.
That’s a bit of a stretch, but if you can rent a starting-quality center for price of draft pick (and fold his $14M salary right into your payroll), you dive in -- especially now that the Pacers have lost four straight to Eastern playoff teams.
But, alas, Kaman’s stuck inside of N’Awlins with the Hornets blues again. Seems like a shame that a 10-33 team would hold a potential 15-and-10 guy hostage like that -- unless they buy him out, which gives him a shot at signing wherever he wants.

Its so they can resign Chandler and get depth.

Since when did having cap space become a bad thing?

Would you rather be in Orlando's situation?

I rather have money to spend and draft picks instead of being stuck.

You can win without stars. GM's are just too lazy to build a team.
