Also, kind of ironic that the sig thing played out the way it did, lol.

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)

When the Lakers got Gasol, I had no doubts that they were going to get at least one ring with that squad. With this move, as it stands right now, I don't even see a conference final on the horizon.

If Odom was going to be included in a deal, I felt like it had to be for Howard. If we can't Jedi Mind Trick a Bynum for Howard and some magic beans deal, then I'm not really liking the CP3 trade by itself. Even if Howard can be acquired, the front court is going to be thinner than a scalpel blade.

The team will be entertaining, and win a decent amount of regular season games, but its not a championship team with out 2 or 3 more moves being made.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Team would have to be gutted inside out. It's have to be Bynum Odom for Howard, Pau + for Cp3. New Orleans doesn't want Pau so you'd need a 3rd team interested in pau that has a centerpiece the Hornets would like to build around. Would fall on Kupchak gming it up and finding the 3rd partner bwith assets who want Pau, identifying those pieces, then presenting it to NO. "hey we'd like to discuss trading 'assets' for Paul, we have them lined up as it stands if you are interested.".

It's never happening but im just entertaining it.

              Nah man.

Lopez can't hold Bynum's jock anymore, especially since he can't play in an extra 8-16 games after the regular season.

Ive provided every argument in the book, every stat, every fact (25+ games for Brook doesn't even make me blink). I've compared both big men. Done everything. Brook is good, but he's no Bynum. Provide me a sound argument for Brook besides "lol he plays 82 games and has bloated stats on a team that force feeds him" and maybe you can change my mind.

Yea, I actually said the same thing in a response to one of your posts that I think we all know if any GM could work with such small odds, it was Mitch.
Now I'll be surprised if we DONT get Dwight.

In side news, something no one has brought up: Can you imagine the alley-ops between Dwight and CP3? It just wont be fair lol

And yes, the sig thing is ironic lol.

Like I said lets wait till free agency is over. All though I still expect LA to get Dwight, at the same time I don't think Otis will give up D12 just yet. That is why I think LA is getting a placeholder untill then.

I honestly think they would have won 3 rings with Brook. Bynum didn't even play in the playoffs the first time against the Celtics when they lost, and he didn't do anything against Orlando.

Bynum has a far superior FG %. Huge advantage in Rebounds (and rebound % while having a team full of guys who can rebound). Efficient with less touches. Solid post defense. Championship experience.

All Brook has is 20 more games than Bynum over the last 3 years. The argument for Brook is that he remains healthy while Bynum doesn't. But he's only played 20 some odd more games.

                          You're right, Brook can't hold Bynum's jock.

The Knicks will amnesty Billups and try to trade Turiaf to make room for Tyson. And a non defensive Center was our biggest issue last year IMO.

Besides play some of the best post defense possible against the man-child himself Dwight Howard?

No Bynum and we got bounced by the C's. Got punked by Garnett Perkins and Big Baby. Bynum comes back, goes up against Dwight and wins a ring. Then goes up against that C's front court and wins another ring.
