I honestly never heard that one. He's a restricted free agent and I doubt there's any chance of him coming here.

I don't think he's ever been paid a big contract, so he's probably going to get a sizable deal from someone if not Detroit considering he's the best PG in the market. I see 0% possibility he winds up with LA.

LOL you want a guy, who has a rep for not playing hard (the last couple years at least), will prolly show up to camp out of shape and generally has never been a consistent winner to groom you PG of the future?

@ Jamal Crawford. Ummm...yeah...no thanks buddy.
Crawford would do really well in D'Antoni's system, especially off the bench...

He'd do well right up until Melo and Amare start giving him the death stare when they don't get the ball.

Crawford is the least type of player that they really need.

And this is it for the lame duck D'Antoni. He just better keep his mouth shut for the season and prepare for his next coaching job somewhere else. He's done.

I like Stuckey as the 6th man, backing up Knight and Gordon (assuming BG avoids amnesty) and still getting near starter minutes.

I don't remember what that Lakers rumor was but it was a mess and had something to do originally with the Pistons giving up Stuck, Prince, and Monroe for Bynum. It was laughable but then some started to suggest Stuckey might be a good fit in LA anyway if they could work out a much smaller scale deal.

Hoping my Knicks can somehow someway pry away DeAndre Jordan from the Clips, figure out who the next PG is gonna be (CP3 or (less likely) D Will). Lastly I'm hoping for some lockout magic from '99.

I would never give up Monroe and I think that Stuck at Shooting guard would help him.

Blazers poised to end Roy era, but Canzano agrees with those who hope Paul Allen will take a longer look at the three-time All Star before cutting him loose.

Very interesting....I'm a die hard Knicks fan but a huge B Roy fan. I won't even say (b/c there's no way it would happen) where I'd like to see him for a year.

Blazers guard Brandon Roy has been working out mornings at UW with other NBA players and has reported no setbacks w/knees.

Hope this is true. I feel really bad for BRoy. This also makes me a lot more open to the Bulls looking at Roy

Edit: and for those who care...it looks like Pargo likely won't be with the Bulls any longer

Brandon Roy on back-to-back-to-back games doesn't bode well.

With the way the Amnesty clause works, I doubt he goes to a playoff team. I'd like to see him go to a team on the cusp...Clippers would be nice.

For those of you curious, the salary cap looks to be staying at $58 Million. With that said, teams currently under the salary cap will get first crack at the players coming off of being amnestied. Which means the following teams, as it currently stands, are lined up.

                            Jazz
                            Cavs
                            76ers
                            Thunder
                            Bucks
                            Suns
                            Warriors
                            T-Wolves
                            Pistons
                            Bobcats
                            Rockets
                            Raptors
                            Clippers
                            Hornets
                            Wizards
                            Nets
                            Grizzlies
                            Pacers
                            Kings
                            Nuggets

As you can see, that list is pretty extensive, meaning clearing waivers will leave guys sweating bullets who want to be free agents, and the teams wanting to pick up amnestied players that are above the cap.

                                1. Are the Grizzlies still under the cap with the signing of Zach Randolph?

And I hope the Nuggets don't do something stupid and sign one of these idiots to their team just to round out their roster.
