I'm told there's no way Lakers are trading Bynum and Gasol for Dwight Howard.

      Not the best source but..

I figured Lamar would be nonstop pouting. Hopefully he doesn't become a distraction in Dallas.

I'm not sure what your getting at....I said i don't believe Kobe is going to be able to take over games like he used to

It doesn't mean he's going to be a scrub it just means his team is going to need some one else to have that ability more often then in years past

I don't think the Lakers are a great team with Kobe and Dwight...they will be a good team but i don't think they are great team with just those two guys.

I've said it before and i'll say it again Kobe + Dwight doesn't really scare me because he's not the same Kobe from 5 years ago.

Kobe + Dwight + Paul scares the hell out of me....

If you Lakers fans/Kobe fans disagree and believe Kobe will still dominate and Dwight alone is enough to put the Lakers back over the top then that is your opinion...

My opinion is Kobe and Dwight may not even be enough to get by Dallas, Memphis or OKC but hey who knows maybe Kobe is 100% healthy and that was the only reason why he couldn't take over any games in last years playoffs that is the way Lakers fans see it

So why on earth wouldn't Memphis just match that instead of trying to work a S&T with Houston?

Teams are going to make moves regardless of L.A. and Chris Paul. This maybe asking too much, but can you let that **** go already?? You've gone on about the Lakers, Paul and Howard for 5, 10 or more pages.

Lakers will end up with CP3 and Pf from Houston. Everyone who had a problem with Odom now has another draft picks and more salary dump from Hornets. Kevin Martin 4 draft picks and some pieces. Houston applied pressure on NBA ownership to have a final consideration to the Lakers package they've kicked around for days. I believe Magic and Lakers can't come to equitable exchange. Bynum probably not enough without Lamar and Bynum Gasol too much.

It would work on paper as Bad Russ played 2 at UCLA because Collison was there. The problem I see is that Russ is either gonna get an extension/max deal from them and there's no way OKC has enough cap to sign CP3 for ANOTHER max deal on top of his, or he's out of OKC to become the main man in another market in 2 years when his rookie deal is done.

I think the Knicks may be the winners so far in this mad free agent scramble. I know things are going to change. Lotta good players and trades out there.
