That's the plan....someone said Cuban was clearing as much cap space as possible right now and he was never really trying to trade for Howard but to just gauge if Howard was interested in dallas

Once the reports came out that Howard would sign long term with dallas that was all Cuban needed to hear...

So he's probably hoping both Williams and Howard doesn't get traded this year...

Might as well trade Deron to the Mavs right now.

Y'know since there's no time to still try to improve the team between now and April and Deron has already stated he doesn't want to be a Net next year and that they have no chance to keep him, right?

WOW! I know Howard is one of the best players in the league BUT DAMN! Were they really willing to mortgage the future on Howard?

Why would they want their picks from 2012/2013/2014 since probably the Nets would do just fine with D12 and D.Will, I wouldn't take it either if I was the Nets GM/President. Terrible offer imo

                      ^^ I disagree.

The Magic are dumb IMO for not taking that deal and if I'm the Nets I wouldn't offer that again at the trade deadline when Dwight flip-flops again and wants out.

It's like the Mike Ditka/Ricky Williams trade in the NFL where the Saints gave away an entire draft for one player. The Magic could have had 3 1st round picks in this years draft, then at least two for 2013, 2015, and 2017... Wow.

BUT at the cost of not having a future? I understand that Howard gives you a better chance of winning the championship BUT it's no slam dunk.

Remember how the T-Wolves ended up after they lost their 5 first round draft picks because of the Joe Smith scandal.

This is probably the Bulls Final Depth Chart
                            C Joakim Noah/Omer Asik
                            PF Carlos Boozer/Taj Gibson
SF Luol Deng/ Jimmy Butler/ Kyle Korver
SG Richard Hamilton/Ronnie Brewer/ Kyle Korver
PG Derrick Rose/CJ Watson/ Jannero Pargo
                            Reserves
                            PG John Lucas
                            PF Brian Scalabrine
                            Camp Invite

This team is probably better than last years, but with a stronger Heat team, they will be a 2nd seed.
