Next year, though I think he can opt out after this year. He ain't resigning with NO, but NO could legitimately have a chance at grabbing Jeremy Lamb/Brad Beal and a forward/center of their choice.

Gordon's contract would be up at the end of the year.

Stays in LAC playing backup minutes to Paul and maybe playing the 2 down the stretch in games?

He can't be traded and I highly, highly doubt the Clippers are just gonna cut him (or even if they could cut him).

One of Bledsoe or Mo must go to either get some front court depth or a 2.

Depends on whether a new owner wants any salary committed. Make the offer high enough and it wont be matched.

I want Love and Gordon. Moneywise it can happen. RFA makes it tougher.

At least for Donald Sterling he can replace Blake's face with CP3's face when he has Black History Night in March again.

Now that Howard is staying put for the time being and CP3 is on his way to the Clippers. Hopefully teams can start filling out their rosters. Preseason tip off is just days away for crying out loud.

This is going to be the biggest test ever of the Clippers Curse. If Chris Paul with his Roy-esque Knee can get through his tour in Clipper-Land relatively unscathed then they may have officially turned a corner as a franchise.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

                          NO Starting 5 before trade:
                          CP3
                          Marco Bellinelli
                          Trevor Ariza
                          Brian Butch
                          Emeka Okafor

                          bench of scrubs

                          AFTER trade:
                          Jarrett Jack (dude is underrated)
                          Eric Gordon
                          Trevor Ariza
                          Chris Kaman
                          Emeka Okafor

Marco Bellinelli, Al-Farouq Aminu off bench and probably 2 top 5 picks in their back pockets.

I'd say NO actually got better after this deal.

I'm just glad LA had to give up Gordon.

LA v LA games are gonna be intense.

Wouldn't even be surprised if Mo started at 2.

Or, maybe Jamal Crawford adds the Clippers to his list? this late, it's a stretch though, so I doubt it.

Don't forget Quincy Poindexter for NOH. They actually could get good pretty quick with a couple of good drafts.
