Cousins's agent says Cousins hasn't demanded a trade.

Somebody needs to get to Cousins now because he isn't doing himself any favors by doing this. Who is going to want to trade for him at this point. I know he's only 20 but damn. He was all about himself last year & got a pass because he was a "rookie". The it's one week into the season & he's demanding a trade?

Isn't this the same cat who was involved in a locker room fight last year?

This might sound stupid but I wonder if Dumars would entertain the idea of offering Monroe for Cousins, I know he wanted to trade up and pick him. Monroe has been great though, so I have no problem using him as a building block for the future, but Cousins does seem to have a higher ceiling. Any thoughts?

There's no way in hell I'd give up Monroe for Cousins.

I don't have a twitter account, but I'm reading on other sites where ppl have posted tweets from Vince Goodwill (from the detroit news) mentioning the Pistons are closely monitoring the situation, and are not scared off by his issues. I don't think we have the assets to get him without losing Monroe, would it be possible to get him and still keep Moose? Personally, I'd think the Kings could get a better deal from someone else.

He needs some vets around him honestly, and with his personality he needs someone like that from the jump

Barkley was right, teams need more vets..respected guys, like when he came in he had Dr J there already... these dudes barely have respectable guys like that anymore

The problem with that is, all the vets are busy riding coattails trying to get a championship in Miami...

Is it just vets themselves, or vets that can still ball? Prince and Big Ben could still share some knowledge. Outside of those two though, there isn't much.

On ESPN.com they just pulled the Demarcus Cousins story. It was on the front page and everything too.

                        Must've been a false alarm.

Some real vets man... some you can respect...not some young dudes who's been in the league just a few years

That's one problem with the NBA right now

Anyway, not surprised at ESPN jumping the gun

I got excited to read it because that was the first I heard of him "demanding a trade" and right when I clicked it said File not Found. So I guess your right and was a false alarm.

Yahoo had a guy reporting it too. There has to be something going on if he is not even in the arena tonight.
