What would you like to see the most?

The NBA is back so it's time to get the gears churning again in the NBA tank. Stepped away from the forum for a bit after the season ended and excited to be back here in such a rich, knowledgeable community. I'm sure, despite all the technicalities and issues at hand, we're all relieved to know the NBA will be back come Christmas. With that said, speculation is going to be absolutely insane going forward. Amnesty scenarios alone can leave an NBA fan thinking of crazy possibilities. With all the momentum the league built up last season culminating with Dirk's redemption and Lebron's "meltdown", this season was shaping up to be one of the most memorable ever.

But what did we lose? Twenty games? Look at all of the media coverage over the last few months. The NBA may not have been in session, but as cliche as it may sound, basketball doesn't stop. Basketball was out there, making headlines, this whole time. We were able to see some of the players on a different level. Goodman and Drew Leagues, two great examples. Yeah, the summer leagues generally happen, but nothing on the scale that we were given access to this year. This lockout has been such a letdown, but with it ending, looking back my fondest memory will be when I caught the Josh Howard Charity Game a few weeks ago. It's been a strange journey, but it's been satisfying. How hungry is everyone for a season right now?

With that being said, what do you look forward to the most?

I was going to make this a poll but polls are cop outs and I couldn't possibly list all of the crazy things that can take place in this season.

The number one thing I look forward to seeing the most is what Kobe Bryant has left in the tank. He had the knee treatment, and has been given time to heal, something he hasn't had in a very long time. Window is very small for this Lakers team as it stands, and I don't expect Superman to be the present every Lakers fan opens Christmas morning.

Honestly, I just can't wait to see the Bulls. Last year it was so fun watching them, I'm glad they're gonna be back.

The Nets playing some meaningful ball this year, which hopefully coincides with Deron signing with us long term.

Travis OutLOL off the team-That right there would make this season 20% better for me.

              Swag Brooks.

              That Deron/Brook PnP/PnR Combo.

Re: What would you like to see the most?

I want to see if Kevin Durant can carry over some of the incredible momentum he had over the summer and during all of these Charity Games he's played in. Guy seemed to average 50 points per game in the several games he's played in since June.

I know those are no defense, streetball games, but I'm really interested in seeing how much better he can get as an offensive player. Can he average 33+ with the shortened season? Will Russell Westbrook be willing to play second banana to him? or will OKC management decide to move him for a more willing passer (Nash, Paul)

I'm also really interested in the free agent blitz that will ensue on December 9th. Will it be like the NFL after their lock out? (with huge move after huge move). Will teams like the Warriors, 76ers, Thunder, Grizzlies, etc. make huge trades to try to push themselves to the next level? Where will guys like Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Samuel Dalembert, Shane Battier, and others end up?

I look forward to Dallas not repeating

I look forward to Memphis coming back down to Earth

I look forward to Derrick Rose proving that he deserved MVP and shutting those people up who think Westbrook is just as good as Rose is. Though I do think the gap isn't that wide, there's a clear difference

On a happier note: hopefully OKC proves to people that they aren't a paper dynasty ala Portland... stop taking 30 foot three's WB

I can't wait to see MIL with Capt. Jack and no Bad Porn. I think they're gonna be an exciting team and a winning team.

Oh yeah, Clipps, go head and make the playoffs!
