everyone is saying draft Barnes but what about Sullinger? He's projected to be a solid NBA player and is from Columbus, OH so it'd be nice for them to have another hometown kid.
What will the Cavs do now?

Now Drummond/PJIII/Anthony Davis are all in play, IMO. But Sully and Thompson would get destroyed by the NBA front lines.Too Old To Game Club

Re: What will the Cavs do now?
I think some people are tapping the brakes a bit on Sullinger at the next level. They also really don't need Sullinger/TT, that's totally redundant.
They need to go after pure scorers and get weapons for Irving.Comment

Re: What will the Cavs do now?
Eh. Thompson at best looks like JJ Hickson really....
I think either Harrison Barnes or Austin Rivers fits. They are desperately going to need another playmaker (I don't really expect them to keep B-Diddy), or at least someone who can score off the dribble.Comment

Re: What will the Cavs do now?
It will be another sad season in Cleveland full of growing pains but hopefully we get moved in the right direction ! The only upside in Cleveland will be watching LeBron and the Heat and blowing it!Cleveland Browns-Oregon Ducks-Ohio State Buckeyes-Cleveland CavsComment

Re: What will the Cavs do now?
If that's an upside something is wrong with your priorities. Last year was good, but focusing completely on the Heat and not the direction your Cavs are moving kind of defeats the purpose imo.Comment

The only thing to look forward to is the draft and perhaps watching the Heat crash and burn.Too Old To Game Club

Ohhhhh nah don't get me wrong I'm not really chastising him, I'm just saying in general. I feel your pain in a sense (my favorite player will pretty much be a bench performer for the rest of whatever its left of his career way to go TMac...) I kind of how the best for the Cavaliers even though I really am annoyed by Dan Gilbert.Comment

I didn't think it was possible to show such ignorance on more than three fronts, in merely two sentences.Comment

Re: What will the Cavs do now?
Play through the year, get their young guys some experience and draft for value, not for need. If they get a top 5 pick, don't reach for a wing or anyone. Just take the BPA. Davis, Drummond, Barnes are good fits. Even if they get a later pick in the top 10, they can get a really nice player this upcoming draft.Comment
