everyone is saying draft Barnes but what about Sullinger? He's projected to be a solid NBA player and is from Columbus, OH so it'd be nice for them to have another hometown kid.

We drafted Thompson. We don't need another PF.

Now Drummond/PJIII/Anthony Davis are all in play, IMO. But Sully and Thompson would get destroyed by the NBA front lines.

I think some people are tapping the brakes a bit on Sullinger at the next level. They also really don't need Sullinger/TT, that's totally redundant.

They need to go after pure scorers and get weapons for Irving.

Eh. Thompson at best looks like JJ Hickson really....

I think either Harrison Barnes or Austin Rivers fits. They are desperately going to need another playmaker (I don't really expect them to keep B-Diddy), or at least someone who can score off the dribble.

It will be another sad season in Cleveland full of growing pains but hopefully we get moved in the right direction ! The only upside in Cleveland will be watching LeBron and the Heat and blowing it!

If that's an upside something is wrong with your priorities. Last year was good, but focusing completely on the Heat and not the direction your Cavs are moving kind of defeats the purpose imo.

He clearly didn't say that was his whole focus, but when you are starting Omri Casspi at SF, ??? at SG and Anderson Varajao at Center, you don't have much to look forward to.

The only thing to look forward to is the draft and perhaps watching the Heat crash and burn.

Ohhhhh nah don't get me wrong I'm not really chastising him, I'm just saying in general. I feel your pain in a sense (my favorite player will pretty much be a bench performer for the rest of whatever its left of his career way to go TMac...) I kind of how the best for the Cavaliers even though I really am annoyed by Dan Gilbert.

Play through the year, get their young guys some experience and draft for value, not for need. If they get a top 5 pick, don't reach for a wing or anyone. Just take the BPA. Davis, Drummond, Barnes are good fits. Even if they get a later pick in the top 10, they can get a really nice player this upcoming draft.

if you were a real nba fan and paid attention to the media and trade rumors you would see that EVERY player thats above average has been contacted by lakers and heat first. THEN all the upcoming FA players are always projected to go to only top teams while leaving small market/less popular teams to fight over 2012 draft position. PAY ATTENTION here is some help to curb your ignorance
