Hmmmm, in the article you posted I think Mr. Brunner already answered that question. Not much more to add to what he already said. But, I will say he has done a hell of a job with the Pacers aside from some really poor drafts through the years (but looking back alot of teams made some really bad draft picks). I know all the success the Pacers have had in the past 15 years is because of Donnie Walsh. -

Ok, looks like you didn't read the article and you don't know anything about the Pacers. Donnie Walsh has been with the Pacers since 1986 in that time the Pacers have gone from a lower end NBA franchise into a Franchise that has only missed the playoffs 3 times since 1987. Also, the Pacers have been to 5 Conference Finals and the NBA Finals once. All while Walsh has been the Pacers executive. So, next time please do some research before you say that Walsh's teams haven't gotten out of the first round.Comment

Re: Why hasn\'t Donnie Walsh ever won the NBA\'s Executive of the Year award
b/c they havent won anything yet, just because you have winning seasons doesnt make u a great GM, look at the blazers, they have been in the playoff like 20 straight years, does that mean Paul Allen should get the awardComment
