I feel you on the overall upgrade, but the Kings also upgraded at the C-spot with Brad Miller as did the T-Wolves with Candi.

I mean, the Mavs aren't my team so it's no biggie to me either way. Good luck. I sure hope Cuban knows what he's doing.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't think the Mavs would pull the trigger on this one. If anything, they would give up Walker first. And besides, I don't think Davis is the big man they are looking for. The Mavs need someone who can really get down and dirty in the post. They need some fresh young legs that can defend and grab boards. Davis isn't that guy for them.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't think the Mavs would pull the trigger on this one. If anything, they would give up Walker first. Nah, age had nothing to do with trading Nick, he's only 32 and probably has a good 4 years left in him. His salary was the main reason they traded Nick. You're right, he was a luxury, and you really don't want to have a guy off the bench making that kinda money. Also, I think the Nelson's had every intention of bringing Nick back this year but when they got the "offer they couldn't refuse", they had to go ahead and rape Golden St. Everyone hated to see Nick go but Business is Business. The biggest mistake Cuban ever made was siging LaFrentz to that 7 year 69 million dollar contract. That restricted any moves they could make. They really had to upgrade their team based on the moves of everyone else. Also the opportunity to get rid of Avery Johnson's big contract at about 6 million per, Nick at 10 million, that was a move that had to be made. Yesterday's deal, i don't know about that one yet. I'll have to see how that plays out on the floor.
