Play 1: Isolate Durant
Play 2: Isolate Westbrook
Play 3: PNR for Harden
Play 4: Two man game with Collison and Harden
Play 5: Isolate Harden

Late-game: Set screens for Durant, doesn't matter how bad or where he catches the ball. If he catches, shoot, even if from 30 feet. If not, see Play 2.



Exactly what I've scouted them for late game situations

sadly, thats a lot more variation than the bulls fourth quarter offense

I mean, honestly, most times we've seen that "play" its when there isnt much time left for anything but a catch and shoot. And the majority of teams seem to run something similar where one of their best shooters receive some screens allowing them to get free to receive the pass on the perimeter.

Its understandable to me because usually a time out has been called. So the ball is taken out at the half court line. From that position, there are only so many "safe" passes that can be made. Thats to the corner, same side as the inbounder, which is still dangerous. Or the player the play is designed for, in some capacity, has to come to the ball on either side of the defender whos playing the inbound pass.

Anything inside the arc is a dangerous pass because of congestion. And anything on the opposite side of the court is dangerous because its a cross court pass which youre taught in elementary school not to make.

I see that from every team in that situation. Theres not much else you can do with so little time remaining on the clock. At least thats how I see it.

Hypothetical question (not sure if it deserves its own thread);

If you were given the option to either get for free:

A. Full Season Ticket Package with court-side seats for your favorite team for the rest of your life and not be able to get NBA League Pass.

or

B. NBA League Pass for the rest of your life but not be able to get a Full Season Ticket plan with court-side seats.

Which one do you take?

That's easy, gimme the League Pass.

I don't exactly need courtside tickets to go to a game. Put me anywhere in the lower level in the first 5-6 rows(or where the TV Camera can catch me)and I'm good.

Win/win.

I dont think they're terrible coaches like VDN or anything

I do have my doubts about their abilities in certain areas but thats just me

I mean its okay...ever coach can't be a Pop or Phil or whatever
