What I'm saying is outside of a "life or death" situation that should never happen. Some things are off limits.

Not everyone thinks like that. In a fight the goal is to hurt. It's not a boxing/MMA match with rules. I don't condone fighting at all, and it's a good thing that for the most part they're rare, but if they were a common occurance I'd be afraid for you. Getting into a fight and thinking that another guy is going to bound himself by some honor code is a good way to get ****ed up.
