You dont think they practiced that before they did this?

      I do

There are conspiracy theorist who believe that Stern and crew had the Knicks envelope frozen so that Stern would be able to tell by touch which one was which.

Practiced what? How Stern would be able to tell which envelope was which?

Don't get me wrong, I tend to believe it was rigged as well. It's just this is the first time I've ever seen that clip so I'm pointing some things out to play devil's advocate really.

That does make sense and actually isn't that bad of an idea lol.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that the guy shoves that one envelope into the opening of the ball whereas the other ones just go in easily. Also, after watching the clip where Stern puts his hand in to reach for an envelope a few times over you can see the bent envelope sticking out clear as day.

One thing I forgot to ask as well, how/why the hell did the Knicks already have an Ewing jersey?

That was the most telling thing to me. If you touched an envelope, why in the hell was there need to turn them over to take one. The idea is, just reach in and grab an envelope. He touched the envelope on top first, flipped them over then took that one. Completely didn't need to do that.

They were mixed up already so who knows

They could've put sticky stuff on that Knicks envelope for all we know...who knows LOL

Of course there was no youtube, blogs, etc, etc back then, so they wouldnt be able to pull that off now

Hard to argue that. He had one heck of a season.

It is funny to see how much he's struggling right now without Dwight. 7ppg in the playoffs...

                            Lin only played 35 games (25 starts) 15 & 6

                            Anderson = 61 games 16 & 8

And last year Anderson averaged 10 and 5 in 10 less minutes per game. Its not as if he was some nobody last year.

As one of the Lin & Knicks bandwagoners, I was dissapointed to see Lin not win, but it's understandable due to the amount of games he played. Congrats to Ryan Anderson, and I hope he'll only get better in Orlando.

                                PTS/REB/AST:

*Lin averaged 2.6/1.4/1.2 last year in 9.2 MPG --> 15/6/3 this season in 26 MPG

*Anderson averaged 11/6/1 last year in 22 MPG --> 16/8/1 this season in 32 MPG

So, looking purely at stats, Lin jumped 12/5/2 in 17 more MPG
Anderson jumped 5/2 in 10 more MPG...
