Does anyone else find that Michael Jordan ESPN commercial to be as funny as I do?

It's funny. What's even funnier is that he probably could do a better job running the Bobcats than the real MJ does.

Curious as to your thoughts on what should've been done with the Bobcats in year 1?

              Is that your solution?

The new owner should get rid of the new owner?

Yes. He should step down, and never return to a NBA front office.

...but again, you arent giving a solution nor are you pointing out whats going on

Saying get rid of MJ leads me to believe you have absolutely no idea what was going on with the Bobcats at all, or even what their current plans are.

                  ..if you do, please explain

Isn't MJ just the owner? I thought Rich Cho was GM

Id say MJ needs about 5 years to see how his stint goes before we can judge. The Bobcats will have cleared a ton of salary, have acquired a few top tier draft picks, and a clean slate to work with. Maggette clears off the books next year, and the only contract that is remotely large past that is Tyrus Thomas. They'll have the cap to throw and if done properly young talent to build around.

                            Yes they do

MJ is the new owner and he hired what is considered a pretty good GM in Rich Cho to help plan for the teams future.

If I didnt know what was going on with the team and im asking you why you made that comment, you don't know enough to educate me on whats really happening with them besides a bland blanket statement like get rid of MJ

Its comments like this on OS that don't fly because it comes out immediately that not only have you not paid much attention to their front office or their plans but you'd rather jump on the wagon about getting rid of someone because of a lost season.

We can't have much of a real discussion on this team like that besides throwing up blanket criticisms right?

If the Bobcats are doing well then yes, probably. We have to wait and see what they do with the picks and direction. I expect theyll catch flack for signing less than ideal talent in the next few years but their cap is going to be so low it will be under the cap minimum soon and they will have to fill up the money somewhere. Best case they do so with proper pieces, worst case they use filler short term contracts and maybe find a nice player or two while they continue to develop through draft choices (actually worst case is they do so with bloated long term contracts for terrible pieces, but MJ seems reluctant to spend money so I don't see that happening). Kemba and Biyombo are on his watch, Maggette trade really doesn't matter because its cap clearage next year and they weren't making noise either way. Right now he obviously has a negative past to shake, but he hasn't done anything with the Bobcats to say he's a problem there, yet.
