I think the vid went too far overboard at the end because athletes get criticized, but the trust thing.. you could make a case here and there.

After watching this I seriously want Bynum out. It's expected for a teenager to be immature but he seems unchanged in the more recent clips. At this point I don't think he and Kobe can coexist. It's clear he wants all the attention and winning a title apparently isn't a priority for him. The thing with the Lakers is there's only like 2 guys who play with heart every game and that would be MWP and Jordan Hill. It's disheartening.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere around here yet. Anyways, great article on James Harden here.

To understand and appreciate James Harden, maybe we should begin with the time he was scared to shoot. That would set up a narrative of Harden the Selfless, a team-first, me-last embodiment of on-court benevolence. One problem: You only need a quick YouTube search to blow that image of Harden right up, replacing it with Harden the swaggering and smack-talking alpha dog, come to assert his place among the game's elite.

So perhaps it's best to start with a quote: maybe his GM describing Harden's future as a painter or his college coach likening him to a martial artist. Or maybe Harden can be understood through description (all tricks and angles and grown-man strength) or pop psychology (Harden the self-aware introvert) or by latching onto the first thing nearly everyone notices about him — the beard.

But Harden's too enigmatic to be summed up so neatly. "You can't put him in a box like that," one of his former coaches told me. And after weeks of watching and studying and interviewing, I still can't quite figure out James Harden. He is shy but a natural showman; deferential some games but dominant in others; poised to evolve into a souped-up Manu Ginobili, a left-handed Joe Johnson, or (more likely) a player who defies all natural comparisons. So there is no easy way, no tidy anecdote or string of insights to perfectly encapsulate the NBA's quickest-rising star.

Yes, that is an ATM Machine that DeShawn Stevenson has....in his Kitchen.

                  We've all been there.
You open up your wallet and there's only plastic with no cash. You're needing to find an ATM pronto.

Well, apparently DeShawn Stevenson's got you covered.
In one of his latest Twitter images, the Brooklyn Nets player revealed that he has an ATM in his kitchen.
That's right...in his kitchen. Let it digest a little. The millions he's made in his NBA career can now be readily accessible via the ATM next to the toaster.
Not a bad routine he's got going. Right after a microwaved hot pocket, he can deposit some cash. Seriously, where is MTV Cribs for this one?
Money affords athletes the chance to buy some crazy things. A gumball machine is one thing, but this guy took it to another level. And considering Stevenson has Abe Lincoln tattooed on his neck, this should not have come so surprising. He likes his money.
The positive about this surely has to be the fact that his friends and family must use the ATM, which is much better than a situation like Antoine Walker, who practically became an ATM himself by shoveling out money to friends and eventually going bankrupt.
One immediate question about the ATM would have to be if there's a $2 or $3 transaction fee for house guests?

Was it Barbershop where those guys (one of them was Anthony Anderson) stole the ATM machine and hid it in his room?

That's what this reminds me of.

If the Cavs got the number 1 pick this year as well, we might have to kill OSU. Kyrie and Davis? My goodness. We'd have to kill Dan Gilbert too. If Miami don't win this year and the Cavs are trotting out Kyrie and Davis, he'd be writing all kinds of letters about his future championships. Media would be playing the pressure raises on LeBron angle something fierce too.

AFAIK, according to him it's either Dallas or Brooklyn next year. But I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back for the Vet's minimum though.

I hope he does come back to Dallas. He was invaluable during the run last year. Did he get a lot of burn in Jersey?
