That, and how CWebb/Peja and most of the rest of em were all bums in the clutch. Classic chokers, scared to death when the pressure is on. Besides Bibby, they all didn't want any.

They lost a majority of their important playoff games because CWebb and the like had no backbone. Bibby was the exception.

The officials cost them one game in that series, the rest of their failings trace directly back to CWebb and company

Considering that the series still went to game 7 with these "failings" I'd say Kings fans still have more of a reason to hate the refs.

OK, and that's exactly what I said. The refs and the choking, Kings fans should hate about their team in the 2000's

Webber and company choking their brains out also had a lot to do with them losing that series.

Giving up 25+ point leads

Running away from shots late in the 4th and in OT

Missing half of their damn free throws

If Kings fans themselves can't admit that much, then that's a shame. People remember that series a certain way, which I don't blame them.. but they do leave a lot of facts out contributing to the Kings' demise

I would be more on board with what you're saying if it still wasn't a really close series. If it had've ended in maybe 5 games or even 6 games I could put more into the choking argument than the horrific reffing of game 4 but the fact that the series still went 7 games with all the choking and with the refs makes it a pretty massive travesty.

And even with all of those things that they did wrong, the Kings still put themselves in position to win in 6 games, but the refs took away their opportunity to win that game.

The Kings didn't lose that series. Teams lose games. Players make mistakes. Teams that mess up can and do win series. But the refs and league should never hand a team a game. That lost the Kings the series, plain and simple.

But if you want to keep rationalizing as a Laker fan, go ahead.

It was the deciding game, obviously. All of that doesn't take away the fact and what I said: they had a boatload of choke artists who were scared to death of the moment.

Choke artists who still fairly won the West. I think the Kings' fans will take those choke artists any day.
