Random thought: I think I'd rather the NBA get rid of charging/blocking fouls than get rid of goaltending.

Agreed. I HATE the charge call as it is implemented now.

Now, if they went back to how I think it was intended to be called, then I wouldnt mind it. An offensive player shouldn't just be able forcibly run over a guy that has good defensive position.

All I want to see are guys manning the **** up and playing tough defense. Not looking to flop every other possession. First of all its weak as hell, and second, it risks injuries to players when they have guys sliding over to try to take a charge from a guy going up at the rim. Not just from being undercut. But from whoever is taking the charge falling back and landing on another player.

You can go anywhere that they play ball at in your city, and you rarely see anybody hitting the ground. Especially on defense. Tired of all the acting that goes on in the NBA.

I've noticed people don't know what they want when it comes to Defense and the physicality of it in the NBA.

Playing tough defense or a hard foul is not the same as cheapshot crap

Im saying pick one and let it ride

They've just made things more complicated with the rule changes and flopping along with inconsisten refs

This has been talked about here over and over man throughout THESE playoffs

Man that's ALL talked about over and over in EVERY playoffs.

I always wonder how bad would the Officiating been if they didn't make the rule changes that benefit the Offense.

That's always been my thing. Don't tell me that hard whack that we saw all the time in the 90's is horrible/intolerable and worthy of being a flagrant 2 in todays NBA for the last decade or so and whistle guys for it all the time and then suddenly when it happens it's back to being a hard foul in one game because it happened to Jose Calderon or Alonzo Gee or somebody like that, but another game it's still a no no cause it happened to Blake Griffin. Like 23 said. Pick one and stick with it and I'm fine.

I was thinking about something this morning, what if the NBA created a new statistic for last second buzzer beaters from beyond half court. The statistic would be separate from 3 point attempts. I'm sick of guys intentionally throwing the ball down court 1 second after the clock expires to protect their precious shooting percentage. That last second heave is important though, I mean they rarely go in, but it's worth taking a chance on.
