Another good tidbit.

Raymond Felton had an interesting perspective on Russell Westbrook following Portland's 103-93 win at Oklahoma City.
“That’s the type of guy he is, that’s his mindset, that’s how he plays,” Felton said of Westbrook. “He’s always in a one-on-one battle with all the point guards. I’m not really into that. I’m into winning. If you win, everybody gets the praises. We are not wearing ‘Felton’ on the front of our jerseys; it says Blazers. I care about the Blazers winning.”
Scott Brooks, however, praised Westbrook's play in the game.
“I thought Russell had one of his best games,” said Brooks, unsolicited. “He left everything on the court. He made plays for us. He was moving the ball. He was defending.”
Oklahoman beat writer Darnell Mayberry writes that Westbrook has frequently had similar battles over the years with fellow point guards.

Welp...I just felt the need to share the video. Kid has insane hops for someone 6'4. He reminds me of D-Wade on defense (blocks in particular).

Welp...I just felt the need to share the video. Kid has insane hops for someone 6'4. He reminds me of D-Wade on defense (blocks in particular).

The video was great. I was referencing an argument that was had on this board about what the definition of a superstar was, and who those superstars were in the NBA. Nothing to do with your post.

Tracy McGrady talking bout "practice"

McGrady won scoring titles with the Magic in 2002-03 and 2003-04. And he did it while driving coaches batty with less-than-desirable practice habits.

"I'm just not a great practice player," McGrady said. "That's what I wasn't. I was a gamer. You put me in a game and the lights are bright and the stands are filled. That's just what I was. But you practice, get up and down and do this. That wasn't my thing.

"The crazy thing about it is… there's a lot of players like that. People are so scared to really voice who they are. They want to be politically correct. Just scared to see what other people's perceptions are… When you have God-given talent, I think that that kind of hinders your practice habits and that's what I think it did to me. Had I not been so talented, I probably would have busted my (butt) in practice."
