Poor Tyshawn. Everyone else gets to wear their uniforms and he probably has to wear T-Shirt and Shorts because the Nets' Unis aren't out yet LOL.

    EDIT: Nvmd:
    John Schuhmann ‏@johnschuhmann
No Nets at the Rookie Photo Shoot today, so no uniform reveal.

Is Evan Fournier seriously going to wear number 94? Does he think he's a defensive lineman?

It probably had to do with the end of an era and beginning of a new one, since those jerseys debuted when they had that top draft pick in 03. But I completely agree, I thought they had some of the better unis in the L.

So instead of just saying he's #4 you gave him a 1D ranking which means you technically didn't find a reason to put him below the others, right?

What do you think those guys do better that put them ahead of Rondo? Score? Scoring isn't really the point guard's "job". Their job is to run the offense -- which one of them actually does that better than Rondo? When it comes to doing all of the other 'little' things like rebounding or defense -- which one does it better than Rondo? I'm not saying Rondo runs the best offense or that he's better at the 'little' things than those you mentioned but when you put Rondo in a conversation of 'The Best PG', he has a very strong case. And I'm a Sixer fan -- I dislike Boston -- but I gotta show love to Rondo, he's special.

I agree with you on this one. I think Rondo is the top facilitator in the NBA. With Paul and Williams shortly after. I think Nash is still a top 5 PG as well.

Uh, I put him at 1D because he is a special player and a top tier point guard.

Bottom line is, if I'm picking a point guard, he would probably be #4 after the three guys I mentioned for an array of reasons. Leadership, free throw shooting/perimeter shooting being some of those reasons. Rondo has shown a propensity to disrupt chemistry and he can't quite find a consistent jumper yet, but he's improving.

Of course he is a top flight facilitator, and a solid defender. When you're comparing top tier talent it's basically nitpicking to find the differences. However I still think when you say "it's easy to call Rondo the top PG in the league" I think that's a stretch.

As far as the specific duties for a point guard go, well scoring isn't their main duty but are we to judge who the best point guard is solely based off their facilitation skills? You want to judge the best shooting guard on who can score the best? You should take other factors into account here.
