A poster on NetsDaily found this and apparently these might be the Nets' Home Unis(has yet to be confirmed or denied):

Can't tell much from that picture but if these are indeed it, I like them. Don't know why they thought they could keep this under wraps for 4 months though.

I didn't even have to think about that. Just cause somebody tries to bait you into saying something stupid doesn't mean you have to go ahead and oblige them.
And then there would be people who would say "Mario needs to have more confidence in himself. If he thinks he's one of the best, then he should say it. Not give some PC answer".

wwharton is right, there is no answer that won't be criticized. I have no problem with him saying mainly because I hate this PC society we live in and I hate when people(Athletes)in general give PC answers because they're afraid of what someone will say/tweet about them.

There may be a few goofs that say that, but I can assure you there'd be less people making a big deal out of that and clowning him about saying that than the guys having a laugh at his expense for talking about he's currently a top ten point guard and will be the best in the league or considered one of the best when it's all said and done.

Also, I didn't realize how much I missed AI until watching that video Kash posted.

Lakers Set to Retire Shaquille O'Neal's Number on April 2
By Ryan Rudnansky on August 30, 2012
                    Next

                    Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE
The Los Angeles Lakers will reportedly retire Shaquille O'Neal's No. 34 on April 2, according to Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register.

                    Ding tweeted on Thursday:

                    KEVIN DING@KevinDing
Lakers will retire @SHAQ No. 34 jersey on April 2 vs. Mavericks and Jamaal Wilkes' No. 52 jersey on Dec. 28 vs. Trail Blazers.

It was only a matter of time before the Lakers would retire the number of one of the greatest centers in NBA history.

O'Neal's numbers and accolades are staggering. The 15-time All-Star won four NBA titles and collected three NBA Finals MVP awards. He racked up 28,596 points (23.7 points per game), as well as 13,099 rebounds (10.9 per game) and 2,732 blocks (2.3 per game). He's sixth all-time in scoring, 13th all-time in rebounding and seventh all-time in blocks.

O'Neal's time with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers will go down in history. The duo won three straight titles together from 2000 to 2002. O'Neal averaged 30.7 points, 15.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in the 2000 playoffs. He averaged 30.4 points, 15.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in the 2001 playoffs. And he averaged 28.5 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in the 2002 postseason.

Shaq joins the likes of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain in Lakers big-man lore. He was the catalyst for their championships from 2000 to 2002, and we can still remember the highlights of him and Bryant dominating together in Los Angeles.

O'Neal played 19 seasons in the NBA, including eight with the Lakers. He was this era's greatest center, and he clearly deserves his place up in the rafters at Staples Center.

Why would you think he cares about anyone clowning him? If he's confident in his game, he knows he just made the world watch him more closely. He's the starting PG on the World Champion Miami Heat. The only clowning he may take the heart comes from James and Wade.

Question: Who are some of your favorite musical artists, and any amazing live shows you've seen come to mind?

GP: The last live show I’ve seen was Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. And they’re still one of my favorites, you know the old stand-bys.
I was a big Motown guy for a long time, being from that part of the country, and that sort of morphed into Jimmy Hendrix, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Led Zepplin, those kind of guys. And being here in Texas you can’t help but hear country music here and there.

Everybody takes a different path in life and about three years ago I started listening to a Patsy Cline album and it just blew me away. I just am still amazed by her voice, and the guys and my family say “jeez, are we going to listen to that again?” So that’s the newest one, and another one: Terri Clark. Somebody gave me a CD by her, a country gal, and I love it. It’s really great. So I listen to that, and everything else is sort of foreign. It’s Egyptian, Usef, he’s an Egyptian guy, or Turkish music. That kind of thing. So pretty strange, a lot of different things.

What about any of Stephen Jackson’s?

GP: Jack used to try to give me some of his tapes, but, first of all I couldn’t even understand what was going on, and some of them you could even dance to, but once I started hearing what they were saying and everything I just gave them back.

Question: What kind of season do you see Kawhi Leonard having next season? Also, where do you see him in five years?

GP: I think he’s going to be a star. And as time goes on, he’ll be the face of the Spurs I think. At both ends of the court, he is really a special player. And what makes me be so confident about him is that he wants it so badly. He wants to be a good player, I mean a great player. He comes early, he stays late, and he’s coachable, he’s just like a sponge. When you consider he’s only had one year of college and no training camp yet, you can see that he’s going to be something else.
