Re: NBA Off Topic
It actually does but whatever.
Either way, I couldn't care less who was the bigger ***hole between the two since they're both huge ***holes anyway and that's been known for years. Not really into the whole "(Insert name)is the bigger ***hole because he did_____" thing.
EDIt: After reading my original post about it, I can see how someone would take that to mean that I'm saying it's a Kobe/Jordan issue even though that's not what I was trying to say in the first place.
EDIT: Who the **** is Vince? Ya'll talking about the Raptors Fan that used to post on here?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Off Topic
It really doesn't though Pack. You're saying it's a Kobe/Jordan issue and it isn't really. It's a Kobe/Jordan thing only because of the names of the two guys. Like I said, I just found it absolutely ridiculous that ex was trying to deflect Kobe being an ******* onto someone else whether it was Jordan/Dwight/DWade/Bron or whoever when he's worse than all of them.
No sense in trying to post about who's a worse person since it really doesn't matter.Comment

Re: NBA Off Topic
I'm guessing this is the sign for the Lebroneration Crew, right?
But how would anyone of you(you could be from either crew or a non member)like to be the owner of only bottle of McJordan Barbeque Sauce?
Well here you go:

Well...TMac is retiring from the NBA.
Many here have shared their soliloquies in regards to players, teams, or the league itself. So I figure, what better time to share my own...
I remember...
...the very first time I learned who he was. I was 10 at the time. My step-dad takes me and my brother to a celebrity bball game in Los Angeles. Fresh-Outta-High-School TMac was part of the game. My step-dad kept repeating, "Thats gonna be a bad man right there boy" the entire game...Before the game ended, he capped the night off by dunking and putting his arm in the rim and hanging by his elbow. Thought it was the coolest thing ever.
...moving to Florida from California. My nightly Laker games were replaced by Magic games. I moved to the Florida the same year he arrived in Orlando. That would lead to my man crush on TMac.
...how good the Magic were whenever TMac and Grant Hill played together.
...how disappointed I was each year Grant Hill got hurt.
...TMac faking right, going baseline and dunking over Okur for the And-1 in the playoffs.
...how excited I was that the Magic were getting out of the first round being up on Detroit 3-1.
...moving to a different area in Florida and wearing my TMac jersey to play some ball in the neighborhood park. One of the kids I met calls me TMac because of the jersey. His cousin says that I actually really do look just like TMac, except "without the lazy eye."
...the nickname they gave me, TMac, sticking all throughout high school. I was known by no other name. It was so pervasive, so synonymous with my being that whenever someone heard my real name because of a teacher or something, somebody near me would go, "What!? Your name is blaziblah? Damn, I thought your name was TMac foreal!". I kid you not, my mom to this very day, has my name saved in her cell as TMac. Have no clue why. Lol
...Epic games with Momentous in 2K8 using the Rockets sans Yao Ming. Tmac leading the charge and taking the series against the Bulls.
...13 points in 35 seconds. Nuff said.
...Getting "uber" hyped watching him dunk on Bradley. Oh...My...God.
...all the arguments I got into in high school about him being better than Iverson in the Philly/Orlando days. Every freaking day. I simply could not fathom why anyone in their right mind would think AI was better, obvious bias aside.
...having every home/away jersey and every all star jersey of his from the Orlando days. Even through jersey changes.
...having the TMac 1, 2, 3, 5, 6...still mad about never getting the 4. After 6, I had to buy my own shoes, at that point I decided there are some things more important to spend my money on. And to this day I think with the way the TMac 1 were shaped, I started to grow bunyons. Lol
...having my greatest outfit EVER. It was an all white TMac pant and jacket combo. It was made up of some shimmering material that reflected the suns rays. Had an all white TMac tshirt underneath the open jacket with my silver basketball chain, basketball earrings (they were literally a basketball going into a hoop) and my white TMac headband. Finished off with the white and silver TMac 2.
Shut...it...down. Got so much attention with that fit. Only wore it once every couple of months and only when I had a fresh cut. One girl literally walked up to me after getting off the bus and said I looked like an angel. No laughing or joking or nothing. Damn that made me feel good. Only downside is that during lunch I would hide out in the library because I didnt want anything messing up my fit. That would mess my whole day up. Lol
...the countless times I have defended TMac in response to people criticizing him for not getting out the first round here on OS. All the playoff and eye jokes...I'd appreciate an avatar change Ex
...hearing that he's going to the Rockets and how excited I was about the potential of a TMac-Yao pairing. Smh.
...the historic 22 game win streak.
...he and Dirk going AT IT in the playoffs.
...trolling OS with a huge post about how TMac is better than Jordan. This was way back in the day here. Cant find it.
...going to my first NBA game. Rockets/Heat in Miami. It was the beginning of the season and the Heat had just won the NBA championship. Rockets won.
...adding the TMac fake crossover into a jumpshot from the top of the key to my arsenal in basketball. Every time I knocked it down, guys would give props on the move. Lol
...the first time he threw the ball off the backboard and dunked it in the all star game. At first, I was all like, "What kind of pass? Who the heck is he throwing that to?" Lol
...the playoff disappointments despite his best efforts. Sigh. Him crying during an interview after being being topped by the Jazz..."I tried."
Growing up, TMac was my guy. More than likely the last "favorite" player I ever will have...He was the one player I followed and rooted for during the highs and the lows. And thats what sports are all about right?
I thank Mr. Tracy McGrady for all the memories.Comment
