Na, Kobe actually gets fouled and converts his free throws.

LBJ on the other hand travels almost every time in the clutch [of course they hardly call that], and yet still gets the bailout foul call [happened against GS just recently]. Then he proceeds to miss one or both free throws.

LBJ can be clutch, but he isn't the closer I thought he was. At least last year in the finals, and the year before that where he checked himself completely out of that Boston series.

It isn't about getting bailed out, it's about him mentally and physically checking out because maybe he isn't built for it.
      Did you watch the clip?

      He wasn't throwing a jab at Kobe...goodness.

Does Dwight Howard have to make free throws? I mean, some people talk like it's easy to make high-pressure shots, especially when you're tired, probably thirsty (lol) and multiple other variables/factors are affecting you.

Basically, let's not act like LeBron is the only player who misses free throws in high-pressure situations.

Dwight has the same issue. Never said he didn't.

Yes and again...he wasn't taking a shot at Kobe.

Bailed out meaning he got more help from his teammates as Kobe and LBJ both took bad shots late in the game.

That's fine if he wasn't taking a shot at Kobe, what I posted about LBJ has nothing to do with Kobe and everything to do with LBJ.

That's fine if you think that, but hopefully somewhere deep down you can admit that they never call James' crab travel in the clutch, and even worse, send him to the line instead of it being a turnover.

I still remember the day they called Lebron for crab dribbling against the Wizards a few years ago because I'd never had a more surprised reaction for a simple call than I did that day.

Haha, with all the talk about him wanting a chance to win, you'd think he'd want to work on those free throws more, if winning concerns him so much.

In particular I could care less about all of this other talk

I just agreed with Kenny, and in this case one was bailed out by his teammates and praised, and the other wasnt by his and was bashed... thats it and thats all

They both played like doo doo in the end though

well i guess they make up for it with the fouls that are called against him like the billups foul, by the way kobe travels 70% of the time he's on the post when does that move he did on ginobli where he switches his pivot foot

There's nothing you can really do besides change your mechanics, and that's asking Dwight to alter the way he shoots. That can only be done in the offseason, and that's comparable to asking Tim Tebow to change his throwing motion. He's probably an 80% shooter in practice, but when you get in the game and factor in noise, movements in the crowd, etc., it affects some more than others.
