Re: NBA Off Topic
Looks like the Mavs are gonna cut Troy Murphy to make room for Fisher.
Kind of a weird choice to me. Rebounding is one of our biggest problems, and Murph brings some real solid rebounding to the table, and he can play the stretch 4, something we don't have on the roster without Dirk.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: NBA Off Topic
AFAIK, that's either the 2nd or 3rd time the league has come down on one of our players for flopping with Evans being warned/fined and then Crash being warned today.
EDIT: Just seen Crash was warned for flopping against Melo on Monday.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NBA Off Topic
Really bro? Grow up.
Anyway where are you getting that they aren't nor didn't plan on using the amnesty on Boozer? I'm basing mine off of what I've heard from a Bulls beat writer has hinted at and what seems to be the general consensus around the league that once the decision was made on what to do about Taj, Boozer's days were pretty much numbered. Now obviously it wasn't going to happen this year because of the Rose injury, but that's been the growing sentiment for some time now. But of course, 13 has GarPax on speed dial so you got the final word on this.
And beat writers are definitely the end all be all of contract/trade negotiations........................okay.
The growing sentiment..........yet this season means nothing, and he's still eating up money sitting our roster (We've known since playoff time that Rose wouldn't be returning), and were then going to get no value for him at the end of the year (If they even amnesty him). So apparently, you and everyone else but the Bulls, share that sentiment.
I never said the amnesty wasn't reserved for Boozer, but them pulling the trigger is something that they won't do. Which is where my original comment stemmed from. If they were going to, they would have done it by now. By not trading or amnestying him this last off season, they've screwed themselves. If they do it after Rose returns, the front office is even more stupid than I thought.
Their going to take a risk of not signing anyone in the off season and having depleted front court depth (and again having no help around Rose), instead of being proactive while you know you aren't going anywhere. There is no logic there.
While Boozer is bad, he's still an able body in the post on offense. When Rose is back, I'd rather be with him (seeing there are no other options) than without him completely and have no front court depth at all. At the present time, he can kick rocks for all I care.
And even if they DONT get anyone for him, they still could have amnestied him and took their chances in the lottery this season and not tried to half way contend. Which I also disagree with.
Anyway, I'm done discussing Boozer and his faux hairline. This horse has been beat to death the way it is. You have your opinion, I have mine and neither of us are going to change one another's, so let's just leave it at that.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles
