This may sound stupid, but as much sense as that trade would make from a cap and talent standpoint, I just don't see the Grizzlies making that trade. Rudy Gay is no Carmelo when it comes to scoring, but I'd rather have him as a primary wing option than Deng.

That's not a knock on Deng though. While he's a bit better defensively (which would fit well with the Grizzlies defense first mentality), he hasn't really shown anything that makes me think of him as a scorer despite being amongst the league leaders in MPG. That may be due to Thibs gameplan or maybe not.

On paper the trade looks good but it just doesn't seem right for some reason. Sorry if I sound like a rambling idiot lol...

As a warriors fan i kinda hope we get him because there were rumors that we interested but i dont think think the grizzlies should trade him because it would mess up their chemistry.

I guess that has to be directed at Kobe. This is interesting becasue Kobe is having his best year shooting so I don't think he's going to stop.
