Anyone see Faried's reaction when he found out he had 19 pts and 19 rebs?

Personally, I don't care how players stack up against each other other than when they're on the same court. I like just watching the game played well and there's a lot of guys that I enjoy to watch. I don't get why there has to be a consensus on every "greatest of all time" thing much less why people put so much time and energy into tearing down one guy and building up the other. I get people are bored, but damn why do the same names pop up every other post? You can walk through the NFL forum and not have to sift through endless, pointless and irrelevant comparisons.

        Pretty cool.

Just absolutely has no clue of his stats. Just going out there and making plays.

Hopefully Faried sticks around a while. Really like the way he plays the game.

From the moment I saw D*antoni become the new coach, I knew this team would fail. He doesn't hold players accountable, so when you have a bunch of accomplished players with big egos running around, there's no one to keep them in check.

I mostly agree with you, but regarding the football comparison, it's because 1 player doesn't make as big an impact in football as they do in basketball. That said, you do still see things like "X team just can't beat Y player", or "X is the best leader in sports, not Y".

I would disagree on impact, but the biggest difference is that the NFL does a better job of marketing teams over players than the NBA does.

Why feel bad for Nash when he wanted to be there? He wanted to be in Hollywood. He asked his bosses to get him there.

People watch too much espn and hype

You can hardly enjoy a player for what he is without that constant nonsense

It's harder to be the deciding factor in a win or loss in football then it is in basketball. Being on the field with 10 different people, and only playing one side of the ball is much different then being on the court with 4 other people, and having the ball go through your hands every play. That said, I still agree with you on the NFL's marketing job being better, but that's expected, given the nature of the game.

I asked King B to stop and he did exactly that, and as a matter of fact he left the thread... You essentially made another post after that still talking about the same stuff.

Now I gave you a warning. If you want to take it to PM fine but don't clutter this thread trying to play victim. Im done talking about it here.

I see Oden plans on playing again, but doesn't want to return until at least the 13-14 season is over.

I really want some good things to happen to him, as long as it's not with the Heat.

I'm still not convinced Oden will amount to much if he ever comes back.

If so, then we can use him. Hell we can use anybody to keep Earl Clark(even though he played his *** off last night but he's a 4) & Jamison from playing the 5 until Gasol gets back.
